It's a possibility.
With what I assume the new generation will be growing to be, everyone in the electoral college would be required to wear snapbacks and shout "#YOLO" before each session of business.
Waka Flaka Flame will become world leader and change US Currency to "Swag points" for change and "Yolo points" for dollars.
To earn money, we'll need to jump off a building for 1 Yolo point, or off of a bridge for 5 Yolo points.

Can we just have one currency please? Because how many swag points does it take to make one yolo point?

This.

We could also change hours to be 287.65 hours in one day, 453236 minutes per hour, and 99996545675 seconds per minute.
Then 3 milliseconds per second.
Of course, since time was created by man, we could change exactly how fast clocks move and take off from there.

Time is based on us tracking objects around us, namely the sun and moon. Changing it here wouldn't be useful, but it might be on other planets with a longer rotation.

Also, I hope Lil Jon challenges Waka for the presidency. He's infinitely better in every way.

A day on Mars is about 40 minutes longer than a normal day.

That means by the 2nd day, your watch would be an hour and twenty minutes off. On the 3rd day, it would be two hours off, etc. Eventually your time-keeping would be so screwed up that midnight on your watch synced to Earth time could be in the middle of the day on Mars.

I mean I don't see how anybody can say their votes don't matter after Florida 2000. Is it incredibly unlikely your vote will be the *one* that matters? Yeah. But it could happen...

Watches run on batteries and aren't even exactly timed with the rotation of Earth anyways.

Alarm clocks, car clocks, coffee machines, and microwaves aren't either. What's your point?

I'm pretty well aware that our time-keeping methods are imperfect, but they would be even more inaccurate if we kept them the same on other planets. (Because, again, we measure time mostly by comparing the positions of objects. The universe does not bend itself in half just to fit our 24-hour day / night schedule.)

.

1824 Andrew Jackson won popular vote and electoral vote and still lost. Your vote doesn't matter.
