i cant discuss my dreams because they usually involve peoples moms from the forums, but one time i had a weird nightmare in which i was getting shot in the back. I woke up when the shooter started shooting and my heart was pumping at full blast irl(weird and scary).

I once had a dream/half lucid dream/inception idk, where I was falling asleep (in reality) and everything was beginning to get all crazy and my mind was in hyper mode or in deep rem, as they call it. But somehow, I managed to open my eyes in the real world and I could see both reality and the dream world. I was dreaming about fighting some samurai with my apprentice, but what was crazy was I when I moved my arms in real life, they moved in the dream. I wanted to try something crazy, so I did a backflip in the dream, and I noticed my legs moved irl which I thought was pretty cool. But here's what gets crazier: I passed out completely, and I dreamt that I went to school regularly that whole day. Then I was telling a friend of mine about the dream then he stops, looks me dead in the eye and says: "You're still dreaming." Then I snap awake back in my room, and I'm looking around. At this point I'm not sure if it's sleep paralysis or something, but I become really creeped out because I'm seeing all sorts of crazy ****. There's figures walking in and out of walls, something standing in the corner and I'm hearing whispers everywhere. So just decide to play it cool and relax, then I look to my right then I see a ghostly face open it's mouth to devour me, then I woke up for real that time and had trouble figuring out what was real and what wasn't for a good ten minutes.

Well thanks for the nightmares.

Well thanks for the nightmares.

That? That's nothing. Satan's a reoccurring character in my nightmares. Every now and then I can be having a normal dream, then I notice something off beat, and one of the dream characters gives me a little look, then when I look in their eyes I immediately know. It hasn't happened for a while, but I remember the last time he looked like an angel, but if you saw him through the corner of your eyes you could see a burnt, pus filled creature with sharp teeth that puncture its own gums ready to pounce you, but if you looked back he went back to normal. It was pretty freaky to say nonetheless.

I've had like the exact same dream but the figures walking in and out of walls came first then everything else came after.

For about a two week period every time I had done lucid dreaming I would lose control of it and everything would get darker and horrific and I would be toyed around with and nothing I could do would stop, I googled it in an attempt to understand and all I could find was people claiming it is the darker side of yourself taking control. It almost always ended up putting me into sleep paralysis where I would freak out and struggle to regain control and eventually it had caused me to stop lucid dreaming and normal dreaming as well, this was a while ago and I do lucid dream some times now but not as much as I use to because the affects were very bad, Sleep Paralysis often made my mind think there was a demonic presence in the room and it was probably the scariest thing I have felt.

I know exactly what they mean by 'darker side'. The first time I encountered Satan in my sleep, he was posed as a different version of me. A better version of myself (on the outside), stronger, smarter, better looking, more charismatic, etc. But a while after that, I learned how to spot the irregularities and force him to leave after some time. I had never fully understood why he portrayed me, until some dreams later down the road.

But I once tried lucid dreaming before, and yeah like you mentioned it's like playing with a 'darker' you. At first it's great, you can do whatever you want, etc, etc. but I had this gut urge telling me to stop lucid dreaming, so I went along with it and I'd get these awful nightmares where my my mind would literally split (I have no other way to explain it) and my thoughts were divided. One of course, being a good me, and the other being a bad me. I literally thought for a while I was developing a split personality and it scared the hell out of me, the other half basically went against all the morals I have without question and it made me wonder if I was really capable of being like that in the real world as well. Again, it's really hard to explain. And it makes me wonder if people with split personalities go through the same thing. I'd have nightmares occasionally, but they never frighten me anymore (still don't). At the end of the dream, I'd discover the real monster was myself and whatever else terrorized me was purely a metaphor to symbolize something much more frightening has taken over, and not even it, could match my own capabilities.

One of the worst side affects that happened to me from Lucid Dreaming was love and before you all laugh it is a lot deeper than you think.

I'm not sure exactly how it started but one day I noticed the back of a girl's head and I was instantly drawn into it and I can not explain why, every dream I would get closer and closer to finding out who this girl was and it made me want to spend more time sleeping which made me become anti-social I have no idea why I was so attached by this person but there was just something pulling me in, the final dream with this girl in it ended with me finally being close enough to see her and when I had tapped her on the shoulder for her to turn around and reveal herself she had disappeared. I was pretty depressed I didn't get to see her but I think it was just my brain letting me know the one I love is still out there or something wack like that, anyways I keep a dream journal that I filled out during the time I did these types of dreams if anyone is interested.

Valiant, if you dream about Love theres actually happening in the Real Life.

I always dream of things then they happen irl, not very specific things just vague things like me walking past a table or me eating dinner. Déjà vu.

fallchild 06-11-2014 06:21 AM

I had a deja vu of the exact thing I was creating yesterday at a certain point in the pixel process. I had no prior conceptions or anything regarding what I was working on before I was working on it. Deja vu is so so weird.

I experienced this in school once with a math question that was written on the board, I raised my hand and told my teacher we had done the problem yesterday and everyone looked at me confused and I realized what really happened and my mind was blown for the whole class.

Lift, eat right, lift some more and don't skip leg day. Don't do cardio though. Cardio kills gains bruh!

I agree with this guy 100%
