I know it sounds cheesy but does anyone else get really pissed off about the stories of bullied kids taking their own lives? It really makes me weep for humanity, I mean, the idea that nobody offered any help or a shoulder to cry on or anything really annoys the hell out of me. I can't even watch those films about kids getting cyberbullied and they're all alone because it annoys me that much.

I had very strong thoughts at one point but I never attempted. Like I planned out what I would do but I never did try

Of the 32 unique individuals to post in this thread only one person admitted to having attempted suicide. I hate to start an argument, especially on such a sensitive topic, but there is an immense difference between having suicidal thoughts and trying to take your own life.

Kinda like Blueh I had everything planned out. I did a lot of research on the way I was gonna do it and I even had my note written. When I was "testing" it I snapped out of it and realized how ****ed up it was what I was doing. I threw everything in the garbage, and pretended like nothing happened..nobody ever knew what I was going through.

Hate if people care about some whatshername (the bleach girl) like only 1-2 days and act like "Oh **** what the actual ***" if people die everyday yet they can't donate 1 USD a month? gtfo.

That doesn't mean anything. It just means you're selfish and don't care about the well being of others. Just like murders and robbers. My brother almost killed himself but I saved him. He has serious psychological issues. I know what I'm talking about.

How when someone actually does commit suicide and it goes viral, everyone is like "wtf why did nobody help him/her i would've kicked the **** out of those bullies" etc but if they really wanted to help, they could have atleast donated to anti - bullying charities.

I don't really think anti bully rallies are all that helpful. It's all media attention if you ask me. Because whenever you see one of those anti bully parades or parties, where are they bullies? They're in that crowd. The only plausible solution in my opinion is to teach kids at a young age to respect one another and to also teach them to learn how to brush things off like insults or verbal attacks. Because hey, it's going to happen sometime in your life believe it or not so you just need to learn how to handle it correctly without anyone getting hurt in the process.

So did he have a gun to his head and you walked in at the right moment or did you realize he had mental issues and you intervene before he could hurt himself.
That doesn’t make you an expert. If your brother has psychological issues do you think he had the ability to think about how his decision would impact his family.

Knowing someone who wants to commit suicide and having serious thoughts about suiciding isn't the same, it's way different. If you compare one to another, meh..

No she's actually fat. I don't like talking to her at all ( I prefer to keep to myself) but other people today show no mercy. One of my own friends frequently makes fun of her and I tell him to stop.

I was only talking about their disregard for other's lives, not their motivation. That was the whole point of the analogy lol. I guess you missed it. Also, suicide has been a major part of my families life for the past five years. Just saying.

I'm not comparing one to another at all. That has nothing to do with what I was saying. I was just stating that I have lots of experience with the situation since I was on the receiving end. The discussion that we had was about the impacts of suicide. I thought that was straightforward, oh well. I have also had suicidal thoughts and went through a long period of depression that lasted a year, if you were curious, though.

Suicide is a terrible thing, everyone has to agree on that...

Even if you get bullied, you get picked on...that dosent mean you kill yourself, i think, your life is to great just to be "tossed away" in a figure of speech...

Ive never had suicidal thoughts, I've never been bullied either...but I've had people try to bully me and say stuff about me :/ just have 'thick skin' dont let any word bother you at all...Just look at what they said to you..(this is what i do alot of times)...and i just laugh about there comment, like for example...tons of people on Graal call me 'noob' 'nub' on Graal when i kill them, not that these words bother me at all...i just think "expand your vocabulary, its sad you try to insult me and not even have a good insult"

what i mean to say is...dont let anyone get to you, never ever ever...just stand up, (straight), look 'em in the eye, dont say a word, dont back down from them
