Administrator pets

Sure the server may require more admins for the huge playercount, as noted by reducing it to around 8-9, but judging from the efforts given and shown by the admins I beg to differ. I would also like to introduce DEDICATED POSITIONS, not simply GPs vaguely taking over GP, PR, ET jobs.

Yeah cause you apparently need admins to answer questions but who the hell needs their questions to be answered? It's probably like "HOST A EVENT" or "Can I have a lightsaber" anyways. Players help eachother in graal admins are becoming useless.
My opinion is to keep everyone except player relations. 2-4 PRs can do.

That's all I need to see it would be cool and it should be added.The only reason why we're "complaining" on how many GP's there is because it's ridiculous why can't they lay off the GP hirings and actually look at what the players actually want?Real Events,Which means they should at least look into it I'm sure we have some staff in this server who knows how it works.

Gps as i continue stating are USELESS no more gps. The playercount is not raising and glitches are merely jumping on a building, i am affected how?

Events team is a meh it would really take away the feel of the real classic from pc instead focus on quests like PC classic did

dedicated staff teams would be really nice, however these days a lot of the staff do more than on job. ex: GP and uploader, or GP and events, or GP and GFX, etc. however the fact that we have no FAQs really bugs me.

someone said that the players should be answering questions. most players dont want to spend time helping someone. if somebody has an in depth question about VIP, how it works, what you get, etc then no players gonna wanna sit around telling you unless they're really nice. we really do need people dedicated to helping others.

and seeing as this server is community based, and has become a social MMO im really surprised that the staff arent concentrating on things like events, or new weapons which would really enhance the social aspect of the game. marriage is great, and i cant wait for the new town and everything but i feel like your time would be much better spent working on things like events, and mini games.

and i stopped taking yephen and maikeru seriously long ago. they obviously just want to get hired.

First off, the staff is entirely dedicated so idk where the hell have you been.. The marriage system is now working, questions are being answered by most admins (even Xor), new places and shops are opening up... Seriously, you haven't seen any of the Changes for the 2012 Graal Classic..

i want good events which are fun for the players. running around and digging random holes isnt exactly fun. i wouldnt expect you to know what a real event is because you havnt touched PC graal.

im just someone whos seen this game evolve over the last 2 years, and see a ton of potential go to waste. excuse me for wanting to see actual content added to this game, but i've seen actual content on PC graal and i want it here. this is graals most popular server, yet its also one of the worst.

You can't really say ALL staff are useless, true some aren't exactly "good admins" but there are a few admins who are dedicated to their job, aren't stuck up, take there time to help you, and don't just go around bragging and abusing their powers.

Ok... My explanation is too long. Basically, there are a lot of GPs because there are a lot of people who play and if there were less, but they suddenly couldn't get on, then the whole system would fall. Also, the GPs can answer feedback and reports if hackers or glitchers are about, but for the most part, there are areas that might have no people to report glitchers. There are so many of those spots, a single GP can't handle it all. So they need a few. Also- timezones. I really do not know if that made sense, but it's shorter than my original response.

So you're doing this for the players? Not all players care. They enjoy the social aspect, and those that don't can get their guild to go do CTF or spar, as most do. The events part is slowly being managed, and will most likely be better by the summer.

actually i just posted a lot of evidence. you can be friends with all the staff members you want but the fact that when people complain about the tiniest aspect of the game they're always there siding with the admins is...well...kissing ass.
would have been sufficient to say im very busy with college work, but instead he said he was working in game design, and he could code.

we have a ton of GPs who do a lot of things. so we could just take a few aside and dedicate them to one task, so they can concentrate on that instead of uploading, then patrolling, then answering questions if theyre one of the good ones, then doing an event, then uploading again etc. just dedicate them to one task. honestly we dont need more than one or 2 GP's patrolling at one time these days. and if you need more im sure yephen and maikeru would love to help!

Pix works for three other iPhone servers. Oh, and he runs Graalians MC. That's four major jobs right there - four persons worth of work. Clearly they aren't hiring him because they know he won't be as dedicated to iClassic or have time to work there. + I find it fishy when people want to work everywhere.

Im already working on a game of my own! how many times did i spread this on the forums? Look also the projects signature. This wasn't touched for a long time and it still shows all my projects

I did said once in my GFX corner that i wanted to make graphics for Classic or Era but that was posted on September 12 2011. I completely stopped that on September 16 2011, when i brought back up Crystarium. The game project began on December 30 2010. Now if you still think i want to be an admin, you're just straight up trolling and you should never be taken seriously.. My opinion.

I defend admins on this forum because people in the graal community don't have anything to do but push an admin to his/her limits until they get the desired content of their choice... Which admins, who yes are dedicated, find this offensive and unacceptable because they work their asses off too hard for this type of content. You don't know what the hell goes on inside the server so theres no need to think critically now.

Now i see what you're trying to say: We need more staff that scripts/gfx and such more than uploaders and Player relations. We need staff that dedicates and responds to most player's questions. This is not a problem. You have a point in this but we have plenty of uploaders there for a reason.

People will still upload heads and bodies and the staff are still going to need uploaders because if they start getting negative feedback on this, then something is not going well. So far, uploads is the high price point of Graal Classic so far and if that goes down, then some-most of Classic goes down aswell... True Story.

ill just end it with this: admins will keep looking for scripters/GFX/etc.
If you want PiX to get in or any person you know, try to show image/script evidence. It helps promote applications by alot ^_^

I understand people like you and trigger are busy most of the time on ther server, but look how many of triggers "friends" he has hired a graphics. Its like... 10 people (cruxis guild news) and what are they possibly busy with. I dont get how any regular gfx staff are busy when they are on the server. Every time i see them online graal are you making a hat at the same time? I would say graphics admins have the most spare time and they keep friends only on. Or, better yet, i pm them and i get "the messaged player logged out"... Every single time for furry and coco. When they are online...

This is the major difference between the staff on iphone and the developers on classic. It takes many years to get good at a talent or skill and developing is no exception. when i was a teenager, i was just starting out and it was terrible.

Indeed, Most of the iphone staff are in their teens, which is why you won't find too many actual developers. When i was a teenager i was just like them, I'd only want to hire my friends or show off staff powers.

That's a great point :0. I remember when iclassic first came out we had staff members such as darkus, streeter, orennene, and some other great devs. Now all of them are gone. We might be able to get some quality staff members if you cut down on the ****ty ones. It's a long shot but it just might work. Because like you said no veterans gonna wanna work on a server filled with staff members who've been playing for less than 2 years and don't know wtf they're doing.

I really wasn't trying to insult anyone, it's just a matter of time. the longer you do something the better you get at it. even then there are many graphic artists that are better than myself. it's all just a push to self-improvement :)
