Except hosts can't DQ someone just because they look "suspicious". They could make a rule that requires all members to have minimum amount of online time or stats. Though I don't think it would help much.

Did you catch any of Solace's matches? Specifically vs. Silver & VIS, rest don't really matter too much

I just thought about a cool idea which might be a neat thing to do. Nothing to implement into gameplay, just something for the community to possibly do for fun. With YouTube live streaming etc, I thought that maybe a few people could livestream the GST events and also commentate about them and the different guilds, and people that missed out could tune in after the livestream and see the outcomes for themselves.

I would be willing to do this, if anyone would want to join me?

Alumni Mixed won't participate in the next GST, or at least me, David, and Dante won't... I'm not sure about Eko, Skull, and MK. You can spam them with team offers if you want... I can't say I won't change my mind if something new and exciting comes along, or if they combine both GSTs into one as some have suggested.

So ya, Mixed is done... Not at 12 wins yet, but we'll get there through our iDevice team or something like that. Not 100% sure what to expect in the coming months of changes. I do want to lead a guild or at least participate in the new guild system though, but I don't think that guild will be Alumni.

On the other hand, let's all give a huge round of applause for the Dynasty that Alumni has obtained! IDK any other team that can do what Alumni has done and it was a great honor to not only watch but spar them as well. Congrats and GL in the future ;)

I am willing to guild spar competitively whenever possible during the in-between season. No need for hats or belts. Hopefully others are up for the same.

I wish the players would setup a dedicated GB (gamebattles) style brackets.
Teams can setup matches against each other. Could have a few players moderate the matches, and make sure people aren't cheating.

If I was good at making websites, I'd do something like that.

Gh guild spar

Despite having some technical difficulties here and there , was a good gst.
Hardest team we faced was in my opinion probably vindictive idev , they had good teamwork and where quite good at keeping their walls.
Unfortunate that alumni had to 4vs5 and lose vs VIS due to it.
Congrats to mixed alumni for 1st place( not a surprise tbh ), brackets did sucked tho which made finals very anticlimactic...

I dunno why you're using a 4v5 as an excuse to why Alumni lost. The one time they were "4v5" was when Sarah was frozen the entire spar and would suddenly unfreeze and warp hit us a ton of times, by the way they won that match lol. Sarah being frozen was an advantage for Alumni as she was getting 3 hit combos off of her warps and taking no damage. You should watch the gst videos james posted. I also have no idea why the admins didn't kick her out during the spar for excessively lagging.

Bought a router and data in order not to lag in the GST but Egyptian wifi sucks badly there's nothing I could do to make it better. Plus you should be happy I lagged like that it made you win.

I'm just staying what's been said , my intention wasn't to imply they would or wouldn't have won if it didn't happen but as Im friends with a few alumni idevs I fell sorry they had to go through that technical difficulty as it's happened to me before so I know the feeling.

I was laughing at the fact Saber thinks thats the only reason you guys lost which in fact you won that round. Which proves he has no idea what he is talking about.

And if you will use the excuse 'I had to sub myself out' as a reason you lost, we beat you guys the first match with you sparring without your cheap warps.

Bothers me that you guys can make an excuse for Alumni and Bello losing 4v5 when practically the same thing happened to VIS against Alumni last GST when we were easily winning the round until Fro's phone restarted, yet most of you decide to put it off like it was nothing.

What even is the current argument even about? Sarah had a lag spike, as she's been having regularly since she traveled to Egypt. Everyone acknowledged it. We all were begging to have her subbed out. She got subbed out. You guys won. No one talked trash or complained. Where's the problem?

Well, no one ever talked about how VIS has won GSTs while cheating and using banned players either... Especially when other teams (like us) did not use their banned players (like Abood and Jack).

I agree that the host should have intervened in the Bello match, but couldn't have Bello just not queued again? Surge definitely needed to be subbed out...

there was a host that was saying that my latency was going over 900ms then he said it's over 9000ms... I had to stop during our match vs Demon and ask him to stop saying it because it wasn't true and it was really annoying

guys we need gst fix list:
1. flawed brackets/gs pt system
2. troll/ban evade teams
3. laggy server- 4000+ on during gst.
4. choppy viewing room
5. add live scores in viewing room

Someone on Silver was mentioning another player lagging. I mentioned that your ping was higher than his so there shouldn't be anything to worry about. When he asked how high your ping was I replied with "It's over 9000!!!". It was a reference to Dragonball, and after you had asked what I meant by that next round, I had explained I was joking. Sorry if that caused any confusion though.

Worst case scenario the round would've restarted and you would've been substituted.

The queue wasn't forced so it was Bello's choice to queue up. But yeah the host should have DQ'd Surge like they should have done to Sarah so Bello would have a better chance at sparring more fairly.

What she means is that if she was not that laggy she would get to spar in the third round, possibly get MVP again and eliminate you. But because she was so laggy, she was subbed out in fear of DQ.

I have 0 doubt whatsoever in my mind that if Sarah was in France they would have won it.

Fair enough, I never directed any of this to Sarah or Alumni members anyways.
