thats true.. some people do need an explinatioj because a few amazing gfx artists i know got their hats rejected and it doesnt make sense to me

what i'm thinking is maybe there were too many hats that were submitted into one category, coughcutecough, so that's why many weren't accepted, regardless of the quality?

Why does a staff need to give you an explanation about why your submissions weren't accepted?

Then they'd have to do that with everyone that is at least half decent at making hats?

There should not be a submission cap, because then people wouldn't submit a ton of content, and have even less odds to get their stuff chosen. "You can only get 3-4 recolors"... "Oh, I'll only make 3-4 then." It's better to just let them make as much as they can, so staff can have more options to choose from.

That's what I was thinking, but surely there isn't a need for a limit, and if this was the case why not get rid of some recolours to allow more original hats?

Hi. I'd like to apologise for the inconvenience caused by our error. You have now been given the other hats which were approved, since it's only fair as others have received their full collections. Issues surrounding the recolours or minor edits of hats as multiple submissions will be discussed by staff involved to avoid any inconsistencies in the future.

Teacup Dolly's submissions are unrelated to this matter, but have now also been addressed. All gifts are finalised as they can now be opened, so no changes or extra submissions can take place. Because that is what criticism is? How the **** is it fair for someone to spend hours on end making different hats and then trying to tweak, re-shade, shade some more then re color or redesign them AND not receive any reason as to why their submission was accepted.

Some of these submissions gathered positive feedback from people, even graphics admins, so I think an explanation is the least they can do if they're going to reject it.

Some of them look as if they don't fit the regular head and to be fair, they don't look very unisex.

Like striken told me:"express not impress!" My mask isn't for everyone like you said you like cute stuff this wasn't made to be cute! I think the issue is that all your hats were cute and there was a lack of hats on other categories. A lot of hats were in the cute category I'm guessing and admins had a lot to pick from! My hats were both sent to tough.

This mount was made like a week or so before you ever posted yours in the one thread. One of the most annoying things that happen here is when people come up with an idea a few weeks or less before said idea was already made (sometimes up to a year in advance), then they think either their idea was stolen or "it was because of me that this happened it was my idea!!1 :D".
