Woodbury citizens are the pinnacle of failure.
"Its not safe in here, we want out!" "Martinez, theres a horde of biters!" -breach in walls someone dies- gg more useless than Hershel on one leg |

also, was that Ricks imagination or what was going on there at the end with the lady up there? |

I hope he doesn't go completely crazy. But the crazy thing will probably go on for the rest of the season, and maybe stop dramatically at the end where he picks himself up, accepts her death and fights, and a few people die and then woo season four. |

It saddened me tbh how Rick drove that other group with his crazyness. Tyreese in my opinion is one badass looking character and I hope that we get to see him and his group a lot more over the next few episodes.

Its funny that when there are no zombies to kill they start trying to kill each other

I'm curious to see if Morgan comes back.

I'm not a fan of how they killed off all the prisoners. I kinda wanted some new group members. Also, I swear, every character has the worst accuracy I've ever seen. Suppressing fire is one thing, but firing that many ****ing bullets and only two people dying in that last encounter is bull ****.

Episode 12 "Clear" was by far, my favorite episode in the entire series. There was just such depth to almost all of the writing. I almost cried when Morgan was talking about the zombie he refused to kill (his wife) was the ultimate death to his son, Duane. Michonne finally got some character development, and her interactions with Carl + Rick show a side of here that we never saw. Cried again when Carl's sole purpose of retrieving the picture was to show Judith, so she could know what her mother looked like. (Although he didn't care to find a picture of Shane.)
I was really amazed by the overall set of Morgan's town. The amount of detail and intricacy of his booby-traps will hopefully positively influence Rick's group into better fortifying future places. If you watched the Talking Dead segment, they explained more about Morgan's system that he had setup. He has one main control tower, with pulleys and ziplines to allow him to transport from roof to roof, across the makeshift battlefield. As well, he has different colored lines on the ground for different attack/escape routes. Truly amazing work. |
I didn't like the last episode... mainly because it almost seems like filler.
1) How did they manage to travel ALL the way back to their home town and BACK in a single episode? In a single day? I got the impression from the last two seasons that they have been traveling quite a distance away from the town of the first season. 2) WHY did Rick think it was a reasonable thing to go on such a road trip for guns? The prison just got attacked by the Governor and he thinks a good idea is to go on a road trip and leave the prison vulnerable? This doesn't seem like a very smart decision. If it wasn't for the fact Morgan was hording supplies it would have been a waste of a trip. They would have had just as much luck looting another local police station. 3) It seems like a waste of an episode, and seems almost out of place. It's been nothing but build-up since the midseason started back up and then suddenly it's a roadtrip down memory lane. I'm not saying it's a bad episode... but I don't think it was a very well placed episode. This should have happened before the attack on the prison and it would have made more sense. It still doesn't make much sense to go back to the home town though... it seems forced in my opinion. Clearly the writers wanted Rick to head back to his town at some point... but that seems like the worst possible time to do so. Really? A trip all the way back down memory lane disguised as a supply run? Would have been an amazing episode if it was better written into the series of events. I can appreciate the episode, and I enjoyed what the episode alone accomplished(there was a ton of character development)... but I wish it they put a little more thought into the chronological placement of it. |
Hang on, who's Morgan? Forgive me I haven't watched the recent episode.

Yeah I agree on both I thought it was great episode but left alot unanswered for and how the hell did he survive all that time alone, but then again the walking dead always leaves you on a cliffhanger of what happens next

I knew it wasn't going to happen, but I was hoping that Morgan would join the group, his skills with traps and all of hs guns would have been such a great asset, as well as giving an idea that perhaps Rick and the Governor are trying to raise their own 'armies'
I found it sad to see when Rick looks at the wall and sees 'Duane turned' in big letters. :( Hilarious when they are driving back and the hitch hiker is dead, and they drive back and take his bag lol. Overall probably my favourite episode in the series. This new writer has made great first impressions for me personally. |
