I've just added IRC functionality to the World Chat system. Players on PC servers can now join the #EraiPhoneWorldChat channel via RC to join in with the fun. That's when andy checks his email of course.

Make the private rooms free, but have a rate limit so it wont lag the server if people spam. Make the world chat high enough so there isn't spam

If you want free private rooms creat a gang. Wala free gang chat

Can we make the world chat feature have a 'history' of sorts? Like being able to see the messages posted in the last 5 minutes or so. When you open it, it blank. I think this would really help the feature.

I think instead of the last 5 minutes, it should receive messages while the interface is not open so you never really miss any conversation(last 10 messages if variable storage is a problem). This would be preferable imo so you don't have to constantly leave chat open to see if anyone is selling something and vice versa.

I agree with trix. I go on world chat and see nothing. It would be cool if I said something and it would stay there even if no one was on it.

If this doesn't get added I think, it's a pretty useless feature in my eyes. BUT WUT BOUT DA LAG? Okay, no good features for you then. Here, have a turnip.
