again guys...I said it's $150 for the 2 existing kits. not for just 1 lol.
variety kit: $70 (which comes with 5 "toy-cons") robot suit kit: $80 and also a customization kit for $10 |
smash 5 costs less than this. wtf
|
Looks cool but I'm a little concerned about possible water damage, tears and the price. But if you got the cash and don't care how long it'll last then go ahead and buy it. Coco, just let us know how it turns out :3 |
i dont get it

I am still confused just with that teaser video and I even went to Amazon site to look that up, the included materials are like rubber bands and cardboards? how does the software recognize those actions and how accurate would it be? |

Okay! Finally got to unboxing! And the box was HEAVY
Spoiler
The actual Labo box was really big, and heavy. and I got the customization kit of course. Spoiler
heeeeeeree we gooo Spoiler
the other stuff that you build with the cardboard Spoiler
aaaaaaaaand the cardboard Spoiler
needed to update my controllers before I started playing lol Spoiler
it begins Spoiler
the pieces pop out really easily, but not too easily where you could do it by accident, which is nice. and the instructions are really nice too lol. they make cute noises and the music is pleasant. Spoiler
tada! This was a "practice make" and was actually really fun. all the pieces snap into place and don't come back out and like i said the videos made it really fun with the sounds and music. and you could move the camera around while building so you can get a good look at what you're doing. Spoiler
so it tells you how long it should take to build each thing...and the one I want to do the most (piano) takes the longest so yay! gonna start on that now, will post results (maybe video idk) after im done. I really like it so far. Though the cardboard is thin, it seems pretty sturdy when everything is put together and doesn't pop out of place at all. so far I give it a 9/10. will see if that changes after piano. Spoiler
Update: after starting on the piano I have to add just how satisfying it is popping out the cardboard pieces and how extremely satisfying it is how everything just pops in place. Like literally...it just....POP. right in place. It's so nice ungh. Also the cardboard is actually pretty freaking sturdy. Like is aid above, when it's all put together it's really sturdy. And some prices are designed to double up so it's twice as thick. |
Unboxing cardboard boxes - so meta.

finally finished the piano! took me 3 hours lmao. it was fun, but some parts were a little tedious...though i did pick the most complicated one to make first. probably gonna do the house or the fishing rod next.
Spoiler
https://i.imgur.com/ePoNkPg.png it works really well, feels durable, and is pretty fun :) it's also really neat seeing how it all works. Building it was more fun than playing it so far, though...but I didnt have a lot of time to play around with it as I had to start getting ready for work lol. It looks really cool, and I'm looking forward to decorating it with the customization kit. Overall rating so far: 8/10. |
