The radical Muslims despise everything about the west. Those that they're oppressing in their home countries are the ones envious of us because we can do normal things without risk of death, such as pick our own religion, political opinion, etc.

Nobody who replied to this thread can actually honestly say that given a choice between living in a city of 1,000 Christians or 1,000 Muslims, that they'd take the 2nd option.

1. People like to be around people of their own kind. Any Christian would rather be around Christians, and same goes with Muslims, Jews, etc.
2. In America, it doesn't matter. If you're asking if you would rather live with 1,000 Christian Americans versus 1,000 Muslim Syrians, then there's a huge difference, and it's not the religion.

So you're saying a select few (radicals) are oppressing the majority (peaceful Muslims) and the majority of the people envy America because of the freedoms and rights we have as Americans? Sounds like Islam isn't bad if most Muslims feel that way.

Then why are they all flocking to leave their countries and join ours?

You don't see massive amounts of Christians flooding to Muslim based societies, but there are massive amounts of Muslims flooding to Christian based societies, speaks for its self.

The Christians and Muslims can be from the same place. There's a clear answer and you're just trying to change the premise of what I'm saying. In no circumstance would you pick the latter, no convincing me otherwise. Doesn't even have anything to do with being of the same religion either. I'm neither Christian nor Muslim but I know my choice with 100% confidence anyway.

It's just a random sample of 1000 Muslims and 1000 Christians. Some could be radical, we don't know. Choice is clear.

I'm from Manchester, iI think it was 2 different muslim taxi companies that offered free rides all night last night so the people affected could get home or to loved ones and dont forget that Manchester is really diverse so we have quite a few Muslim doctors here who stayed all night treating the wounded.

well i'd obviously choose the christians. i'm just saying we shouldn't directly target every muslim. i have many muslims friends in high school at the moment who are probably some of the nicest people i've ever met, one even being from tajikistan

Christians kill people and commit crimes too. They aren't exempt, even if you would love to paint the picture that way. Pastors have been sex offenders and murdered people. Christians have committed terrorist acts at places like abortion centers.

I'd also rather live with 1,000 whites over 1,000 blacks and 1,000 rich people over 1,000 poor people. I can't imagine that you actually believe your example makes any sense towards your point.
