You still can't open it because when you get near the chest you face front.

Yea. It is confirmed. If you capture any rare baddies while doing the quest you get a bonus. I got 1250 gralats instead of the normal 1000

Shaheen just showed us you can use the warp ring a few times and eventually it warps you to an area with a gem:

Oh I know. No where near done with it yet. Trying to figure a way how I can visually integrate the dungeon first. Thanks though.

If you can't obtain the one in the King's Room, use the Warp Ring enough times to be warped into the area Thallen posted.

Hopefully this means we will be able to locate and use multiple gems, if not, two is still good if well placed around the activities that you typically do, but unlocking more would be nice.
