I beat my first gym battle. Loving this game so far.

id rather play pokemon go than ingress though ^^

Went on an adventure today in the city, captured some nice pokemanz and had a good time in the progress :) I could get used to this.

Why do I feel like this game dumbs down every aspect of a good pokemon game to the most mundane level?

There's hardly any battling or any way to connect more with your pokemon. Even catching them is really annoying. Everything is pretty random and it takes away from the feeling of exploration.

There's not really any training, all you do is feed your pokemon some crystal meth and ecstasy and they somehow get stronger.
