Just realized admins don't host in the morning or afternoons. They host at 12am-5am. Less players but more of their friends are on.

Same with GST. Oh wait, no. They host it at 2 am MY time, not yours. And don't consider any sort of alternate time zone opportunity to get involved for players from other countries whatsoever.

:D

Pretty sure Raina has school and a life.

Yes, the 15,000 hours she has certainly reveals this. Excellent work Striken!

Being an Admin isn't a job where you have a set schedule Einstein.

@Vici: I'm questioning why are events hosted less than it was before. Is there an issue with that curiosity? In addition, I am well aware my chances of getting into one are very slim (which is why I have the notification turned off). Same applies for others but those chances can be increased with events hosted more frequently.

@Count: Less players = Less lag, can be answered if admins were still using warpers. With the random queue, only 30 players get chosen and put into a level. But there's also those players that might lag themselves in the event but could be avoided by adding a lag cap of x amount of ms.

@4-Lom: If they implement the ideas that various players in the community have suggested, it'd be nice (ex: Event House, Event Bots, Player-Made Events, etc). If they also host more frequently, many players would have those opportunities.

Its all really what I initially posted that admins have priorities, circumstances, or time constraints that prevents them from doing an event or multiple events. I'm well aware we have a diverse group of staff members and they reside in different countries. The idea of how Events can be improved/renovated can still be an option. Doesn't have to happen sooner but later hopefully.

You have notifications off but wonder why admins in different timezones than you, host when they want and not when you're online? What kind of drugs are you on lmao

No theres absolutely no issue with curiosity buddy and I never said so as I believe, though it seems really weird that you apperently know all of the friends of a staff member and write down the exact same time when they host, every single day.

And just for your info, the admins that host by far the most imo and by what I've seen so far, are probably Milo and Raina.
Like these guys really host a lot and seem quite nice.

We do try to host events more often but there are limitations such as time zones which prevent us from hosting when you expect us to. As for events being held around 12-5am, most of us who are awake in the afternoon or late evening might have other matters to attend to and I do host events around 10am-1pm for those who happen to live somewhere in America or similar countries with very different timings compared to Asia.

@Vici: Once again if you can read what I posted, the friends statement wasn't necessary (must I resize/bold that specific line for you?). It might be you that's on a substance because I haven't posted every day on this thread which admin hosted what and only mentioned one example, "Raina hosting Cliff Climber around 2am-3am", which isn't an exact time. To answer your question, I turned it on yesterday and 3-4 events occurred due to the fact players have messaged me or said on guild chat "Events happen late passed 12am". A curiosity that was answered. Don't know what's the issue here, I'm just requesting folks to host more frequently if they can.

So you know that admins have their own lifes but you still request them to host more
yeah ok seems fair

Thallen 03-15-2016 07:41 PM

You're in here arguing with a bunch of social guild warriors and competitive chatters, dunno why you're putting yourself through this
No sense in even trying to make a case to people who have thousands of hours and little to no gameplay participation or experience

"I have a life, I can only host 1 event every week" is probably the stupidest justification though
Doesn't matter to me when events are hosted, but doesn't make sense to me that they're hosted so infrequently

Milo 03-15-2016 07:55 PM

Well,if you guys would like it, I could try to host more e.g. one per day?

Zetectic 03-15-2016 08:00 PM

dw fulgores gonna host at least 5 a day in the future.

The argument isn't that events aren't hosted because GPs have a life, but that they can't be expected to host 24/7, and just because its a specific time a day means they are trying to get their friends to win doesn't make much sense.

Thallen 03-15-2016 08:11 PM

Doesn't seem unreasonable to me to ask GPs to host an event a day, takes like 10 minutes and we have how many GPs total?

The amount of time an event takes can vary depending on which event it is and the number of players. I have been trying to host one per day or at least one every two days but they probably happened to be hosted while you guys were offline or maybe afk. And no, I don't think that is an unreasonable request either.
