DDoSing takes even less brain power than winning a GST, just for the record. You have no reason to be afraid of someone like that. Skype caches your IPs publicly, they Google "Skype resolver" and type in your username, then they either pay for a cheap booter or just use a Google search to find public shells.

If you're under the impression that people like him are doing something that requires any sign of intelligence, it's false. The safest way to not get DDoS'd is to not give your Skype out to idiots, just connect through Skype through SOCKS or something.

You won't get any that are reliable for free, but it's worth paying like $5/month for. I can't recommend where to get them at, I've used a few that a friend of mine has bought and shared with me for the past year.

For one, the so called "Ben" in that video was not the Ben that DDoSed WAR members, also leaf was a fake anyway, also DDoSing has a various of attacks, for example XRML- pingback, layer 4, and layer 7. Anyone can DDoS, but it's about the power. And not much power was needed to take down this so called "WAR" guild. Like thallen said, if you don't want people getting your IP, use socks, this will block access of Skype resolvers from getting your current IP, and don't be dumb enough to click on IP loggers.
Protect yourself from getting your IP, and then you can try it in a range of skype resolvers, it will say "Failed to resolve this username". Sometimes it will give a old IP. Simple solution, WAR don't use people to DDoS guilds, and protect your IP.
