no, these two events are unrelated. however, there is a relatively high chance of being bad at life if you let the whole "good at graal" thing take you over, which in turn causes you to play the game more and sacrifice some of your life for it. this will start a downward spiral where you keep playing graal and keep putting other more important things in life aside, eventually destroying certain valuable parts of your life. the young players of graal do not realize this cycle, so they go through it, completely unaware of the consequences and then eventually come out as strange human beings. the duration of the recovery period depends on the person who went through it. only you have the power to prevent this from happening to you.

people who play Graal on a forum about playing Graal criticizing other people for playing Graal because they're better than them at playing Graal (to which their defense is they don't care about playing Graal)
