hi awhile ago some of u suggested me to watch Fate series.
so i started with Fate/Stay night, but looks like there's a lot of series.
can someone list it in order?

There are many orders you can watch it in.

Based on the VN it's Fate/Stay Night (Deen edition)-> UBW -> Heaven Feels(Movie not aired yet) -> Fate/Zero

Some people like to watch Fate/Zero first which is technically the prequel to the F/SN series, but it's often criticized since F/Z spoils quite a hefty amount of HF's route.

Some people also say skip the whole Deen version completely since it's trash :^)

The last way, and regarded as the true way based on many, is to Read the VN first then enjoy everything else once you can fully understand everything.

Choose which way you want.

Lets pray for a season 2

Hopefully , after such a nice adaptation. They probably have enough material to adapt a second season tho so probably all down to figures

Fate zero
Fate stay night
Fate unlimited blade works

Fate stay night was meant to adapt the unlimited blade works route but failed miserably tbh , so unlimited blade works is a remake with a better adaptation as far as I'm aware ( not 100% on this ), but that's the order story wise you probably should watch it .
If you don't know what the routes are referring to , fate is adapted off a visual novel that contains three different routes. Fate route , unlimited blade works route and heavens feel route ( which will soon be adapted via movies ) .

Tbh, I think read the VN, all three routes. That's what I did.

Watch Deen version.
Watch UBW
then watch Zero.

You will understand the characters better. especially Kiritsugu.

Yeah I know , however I don't feel like they would stop making seassos as the manga is already quite popular with out the anime , plus making more seasons would only feed into the mangas selling numbers. But we will see how it goes hopefully they do season 2 !

Zetectic 06-15-2016 01:09 AM

There's 2 different Fate Stay night Unlimited BladeWork? 1 is movie and the other is animation. are they same or what? which one comes first?

and can't servants just kill masters? then wouldn't it be over?
^i was watching Fate Stay night, archer vs. hercules and archer had plenty chance to kill that illya girl, but he didn't.

18 episode in, cough wtf is this.. 6 girls and 1 main char. hot...

Studio Dean did a movie adaptation of the UBW route. From my understanding, the movie cuts out alot of stuff, obviously, but went more in detail in some areas than ufotables series. Should watch both.

Currently, in the Fate series of animation, there is;
Fate/ProtoType; The original concept of the Fate series where Saber is a man and the main protagonist is female.
Fate/Stay Night (Studio Deen); The series that kicked everything off. Mostly the Fate route, but contains some of the other two routes as well.
Fate/Stay Night UBW (Studio Deen); As above, has stuff ufotable doesn't have, but lacks.
Fate/Zero; Ufotable's break out show that really showcased what the studio can do. Animation quality, storytelling, everything was really top quality ****.
Fate/Stay Night UBW (Ufotable); Ufotable's adaptation of UBW. People felt it lacked what Zero had, but that's mainly because of source. Zero came from a LN, while Stay Night came from a VN.
Fate/Stay Night Heaven's Feel; Ufotable's third entry into the series, a movie adaptation of the third and final route of the fate series. Not released yet.

and then there's that whole magical girl spin off that you should skip.

FMA Brotherhood ftw

Cindy 06-18-2016 04:34 AM

that rushed mayoiga ending tho... it wasn't as satisfying as i thought but people are bashing it and overreacting about it not being like the anime another..

rumors are out about some ova/special explaining the other characters + speedstar? hope it happens, wanted to know that couple's past since ep 1.

guess i'll give this anime a 7.5/10 for focusing on the nanaki itself, which made the anime unpredictable, didn't except this turnout though. would've been better if that stupid glasses guy, lovepon, and speedstar didn't exist but it ended well somehow...

I was satisfied with the action and conclusion of the last episode of ConRevo; but overall, I enjoyed S1 more.

tbh, Mayoiga was the worst thing I watched this season. The site I was streaming from had a 3 second audio delay in the second half of the last episode, so i just stopped caring. The whole show was just a train wreck of characters, half of whom literally did nothing for the story.

watched it on kissanime, had 5-6 seconds delay. imo, this is a good ending for the anime (even though it was ****). i didnt want it to be some survival cliche story (as it was in the first episodes). character development was also bad, they didnt change after the nanaki effect and most of them were annoying and too stupid. i only liked the concept of nanaki, the rest is so-so. was gonna drop it but cliffhangers kept coming at me.

other than that, it was kinda a fun watch. will drop it to a 5.5/10 if there's no ova.

For me it would have to be Big Order. I agree the ending of Mayoiga was rushed and it fell around the last couple of episodes but Big Order on the other hand was rushed since the first episode. For a series with a cool premise and all, it had some potential but the directing was bad from the start. Albeit Mayoiga would come second to Big Order imo lol.

Endride and Seisen Cerberus weren't that good also but I didn't expect too much from those to begin with tbh.
