What is with the Ajin "movie"? The first 20 minutes of it was episode 1 of the anime.

It has the first episode Listed as Ajin Ep 1 with 24:27 run time (bad sub), then the "movie" as Ajin Part 1: Shoudou with 1:45:09 run time. Like I said the first 24 minutes of it is just episode 1. I know they were making a three part movie for Ajin but I though it would be different from the anime airing. I guess the movies will just be cut down into episodes?
