Okay, so.
I have read this whole thread, and taken in what you have all said, and agree with a large amount of it. Allow me to explain myself;
1) We cannot hire everybody, and we can't
always pick someone who is actually as good as they
seem in their application. but we try our hardest. Because of this same reason, We do sometimes feel more comfortable hiring someone who we know a bit more about than just a written application, and this is where the rumours come of us "Hiring friends" comes from.
2) If you have a problem with a PR, Let me know about it? Forum PM me it on here and i'll be sure to reply if it is not just "HOMELESSWITCH IS BAR PR OMG UR SO BIASED TOWARDS HER OMGOMGOMG". Proof is what i need, proof and a calm head to explain yourself, and i DO look into every accusation, so far, every accusation has been acted on also.
3) The new PRs have been trying their hardest, cut them some slack. I admit, not every one of the new prs that were hired were cut out for the team, and that is why some have been let go, but we have a few like KatGoesRaw who are doing an amazing job for their first few weeks.
4) In regards to the complaints about iEra's staff losing all of their good people? I agree. We've lost alot of great people (Most of it due to IRL stuff) and they know they are welcome back. But there is no point in wishing for something that has no chance on happening, instead i am trying to re-stock the team with more, awesome people. but i can't do that by myself. if you have suggestions for Mature, Trustworthy people for a PR spot, let me know. but once again, i don't want to see threads/pms containing "
APPRENTICEPROPERSON MR .P {LDR} THATGUY IS A REALLY COOL GUY MAKE HIM ADIAM PLZ THNX". I want a structured suggestion on why we should look into hiring them, and good reasons of why they would be good for the team. if you think you know someone who would fit that criteria, let me know, but don't spam me about it.
5) I have always been proud of the iEra staff team. The fact that we make a point of regulating our staff and making sure what they do is fair is a good thing. and i am all for giving second chances etc, and i think you might notice a few changes now that auron has become Co-Manager and i am now the Only
Experienced active PRA around at the moment. We have promoted Reno to aid me while kane is away, and we are seriously looking to make the team awesome, so give us a chance and some time, and see what happens.
