This is my first and probably my last digital game. I keep my console clean and I can always buy extra storage in the future.

Don't get me wrong I prefer physical games but I really want to avoid the midnight release scene. I had a pretty awkward time last year picking up GTAV at my local GS there were only about 3-4? girls. On my way home I actually had a car behind mine filled with 4 guys who kept honking lol

Let's be honest, if you miss midnight launch or even the first couple days of release it's not that big of a deal.

Servers might be beaten to **** and like you said, midnight releases are a living nightmare.

Imma get this even though It means I'm dropping $110 on this and Archeage, both games I'm extremely hyped for.

I need to pre-order this at GameStop still so I can get that sexy Sparrow. I don't have the luxury of getting a digital copy since I am using the maximum hard drive capacity for my Xbox 360 Pro (120 GB) and am just about running on the last quarter of memory it has left. I'm kind of screwed when it runs out.

I got the Ghost edition, I'm going to have a piece of plastic to sit on top of my xbox. yay

This game is gonna be fantastic. Buying it for 360. I played the beta and it was great. Already have it Pre-ordered and everything. The only thing that is strange about the game was the hitbox. It seems a lot larger then regular because I have never gotten so many headshots in my life. (and honestly i dont think ive improved in my fps gaming skills)

I have over 100 people on my friends list on my xbox. Like 6 on my playstation. All my multiplayer sheet I get for xbox. My dad uses my PS4 more than I care to anyways. I don't really like it much anymore.

It's going to be pretty much the same on any console you get it for other than the exclusive content on the PS4 which I think is stupid. Everyone should be able to receive access to it.

I dont need another gaming console. Ps4 my reason is the games it has. Which are Killzone, Gran, and many more to come.

Halo itself was only available on Xbox. Since Destiny is available on multiple consoles I don't think they should limit the DLC to just one console (or two if the PS3 gets it).

I guess it really doesn't matter though if Xbox will eventually get it.

This game is so overhyped it is going to be hilarious when people are disappointed.

It is overhyped, but it is definitely going to be an amazing game. I trust Bungie wouldn't disappoint. Since there's nothing like forge mode for this game, I would expect to see some creative playlists in its place.

Bungie games are amazing. Besides ODST, probably shouldve just been an add-on. Playing that game alone is awful.

Exactly, the game is supposed to last over 10 years with additional content. What they dont mention- the constant purchasing of DLCs.

I'd gladly shell out more money for this game's DLC for longevity rather than spending $60 a year for the same game with a few improvements.

No one can claim the game is going to be amazing unless they've actually played it though.

Well, I played the Beta and that was really good. I would assume that if the Beta was good, the actual game will be even better. That was how it was for the Halo: Reach Beta.

As soon as the Beta came out, the game became overhyped because it was an amazing beta. If the beta was a fraction of the game (and it was fantastic), im only gonna assume the game will live up to its hype. Also the first DLC is coming out in December and its supposed to be a REAL expansion to the game. Not just extra armor, weapons, and maps.

The only thing I didn't like was the typical close quarters 6v6 deathmatch/conquest. It just made the PvP seem like another titanfall or CoD (which I dislike). More expansive and open maps would be of more interest to me. Snipers don't have many areas to actually be a sniper, and vehicles felt crammed and meant for use only on the few designated areas on a map.

When I played this, I really enjoyed the raids and the adventure aspect and I was quickly bored by the predictable PvP.

If this PvP was more along the lines of battlefield it would be much more interesting to me. Although that probably is not going to happen, I hope they at least make the PvP have a more overall Halo feel. The elements of CoD are a little too strong.

I still have not bought into the hype yet over this game.
Maybe when it actually releases and I see some reviews I will decide.
...this is like a multi-hundred million dollar budgeted game though so I'm sure a majority of the reviews will be rigged and bribed anyway...

After Watch Dogs I'm just on edge when it comes to unplayed + hyped games. :(

got up at 2 am and played til 6 am. I'm liking this game a lot.

Is this game like a Borderlands style where there is 4 or so people at the most in a server against AI?

It's kinda like borderlands, except always online. I haven't played it yet but that's the feel I got from all the previews and beta footage.


Either way, my destiny begins next Monday, anyone gonna have a guild by then? :P
