There are so many copies of things my team worked on, but different copiers have copied different things. GtA copied more scripting and gfx work while iClassic copied more overworld work. With volunteer developers, there's the general problem that everyone wants to work on certain things that don't necessarily come together to form a common vision. That's why there have been so many forks in the road, and those forks have overall been detrimental to development.

My Idea:
So some people arent pro gamers and some people stick around for the social stuff
Well heres a more logical idea

Leave graal as it is but

If you complete some sort of quest you do that gives you use for your scarf you,will obtain azraels rod. In your quest folder you will go to angel clan and Go in the cathedral and use it
when you do a portal will apear this is the secret portal to dark graal
Dark graal will be like the darker more chaotic Overworld where graal cities full of monsters and theirs loads of trouble and stuff and you can go in there and explore and find that the world is different you can locate dungeons and gain new hearts but your heart peices will only work in the dark world not in the light world. complete dungeons and gain your item then you can use that item to unlock another dungeon or something like that

Example: if you get your boomer rang from the deadwood dungeon you will be Able to go to open the master lees woods dungeon.
And you can keep your items when you travel back to the light world but your boomer rang will not harm players.

Once you beat a dungeon you can reset it and change its difficulty making enemies harder and stuff.

once all dungeons are beaten you must confront the demon king ____(name)
But you will need 1000 hours to enter his castle

Once you enter you cannot bring a friend. you must go through his dungeon alone and itl be extremely hard.
Once the demon king is defeated you receive the four graals which you use to enter the golden gate and there their will be one more dungeon. that last. dungeon the golden dungeon will have at the end some sort of reward.

All dungeons can be reset and have the difficulty changed, mounts are not alowed in dungeons.


What do you think about this idea, sure its huge and all and would take a while to make but this game will improve alot.
As for gralat packs, merchants will be in the dungeons selling potions to help you , another overworld= more shops
And more players will come because the game will be what they expected when downloading.

Classic has a small furniture or hat update every week, which is like the servers fuel, it keeps the players on. Classic's holidays are like the 'main' events on the server, which is what players look forward too.

Classic is pretty much like a collecting game in my opinion, with no real incentive to do other things like sparring or pk'ing, as there are no rewards for doing so, like other servers.

Yeah, Nexus' are always fun, but there is no real sense of adventure of Classic anymore. When I was a new, there was so much to explore and do, but once you do everything, it gets pretty boring. I mean, yes it is more of a social game, or in some younger kids eyes, a dating game, but there still needs to be some sort of adventure in the game to get a wider range of players playing the game. I just wish we had small updates like that maze in Rufus' house.

Do you guys realize that it's not the game thag is boring, it's just that you've lost interest in it? Classic is better then it used to be. There is more stuff to do than before. But most of us have played the game for years. It's no surprise we are a little tired. The servers not dead it's just time for you to move on.

Let's just say that Graal Classic being a more Quest Oriented game sounds a pretty good Idea, But I think thats its gonna take too much time to add all of this quests just to keep the players busy.

I just taught of something, Like how about a Quest on every Holiday so that it would keep players busy for a while.

How about adding fishing as a daily quest? You're rewarded # of gralats based on the rarity and/or size of it.

To be honest, I havent played era in my whole entire life, o-well its just a random taught anyways.

Not exactly quests but there are events on Halloween, Easter, Christmas and the anniversary. These keep players plenty busy during the holidays.

I call them Quests cause you need to do some hardwork before you get to the special item or shop.

People will try to do this cause some people are mainly Collectors, and Some people are just there to try to get to the special item or shop.

Frankly, I think just getting the Gnome Caves in place would get the ball rolling. I hear that there could be some problems with crashing the server if everyone tries to run a quest at once though.

Fishing amongst other daily 'quests' is actually a nice idea helping players not burn themselves out and instead coming back the next day.
I think classic should pursue this path for sure.
