In other news, development is going very well. I don't like stapling release dates, but I will say that it is a goal of mine to release Stroseria by the end of the year. You're probably thinking that that is a long way away, and it is, but I feel safe in committing to it, which is something I wouldn't have done last month or even last week.

I'm big on social networking, so I might as well try out! I don't have gold though, so I need to wait until I get developers gold.

If I tried to give you a percentage I'd probably be making it up.

But I will say that everything is still under heavy construction, but it's clear to me that we're going to end up desperate for LATs before too long. The graphics are fairly complete. The tiles set just needs to be edited for a few extremely minor pics1 errors and tiles for one of the areas which I won't say here. We've found some free music tracks online intended for developers to use in their games, and I think they work well. Scripting... I've long sense given up hope of finding a competent scripter who could work aside Entrok, so it's just Entrok working on all the systems (and I really have to hand it to him because it sure looks like more people based on how much has been done).

And I'm desperate for my social media organizer or whatever you wanna call him or her.

Everything you've submitted so far is professional and well structured/organised. Very well done and I'm wishing you all the best with your server. I can't wait to see it on the hosted list :P

I don't think Stroseria is hiring anyone other than needed dev staff. As far as I know there is no point in hiring staff for an unreleased server.

I don't think they understand this is about doing stuff and working, not flying around with 100 ap. we need a tutorial thread members must read I n order to post, although that still wouldn't stop the onslaught of proper English -challenged idiots like Okran ticking everyone off and giving iPhones a bad rep.

There are no players for them to impress if they become staff. Last I checked, the server is set to staff only.

We're working on a very involved guild system. What do you think servers like Classic and Era need for their guild system? What do you want to see in a guild system that wouldn't necessarily fit in with Era or Classic?

Only joining one is a little tight I think, if you have different groups of friends. Maybe you can only join 3 guilds max. That way you have your 1 major guild you're most active in, plus 2 on the side that's just for when the main isn't active, fooling around, etc.

Also, it'd be amazing to have games or some sort of special feature about guild houses instead of them basically doing the same job as a regular house. :o

He probably wants the ability to hunt in his guilds, as a group. Hunting deer, and noobs.

I think one gang house for the entire guild that members can have rights to edit in each room would be better.

Other features:

• Allies - Same as iClassic and iEra (roughly, will have some other perks)
• Enemies - Let the world know who you don't like
• 25 Member Max
• A right to change other member's rights
• A right to define ranks and use a promote and demote button (custom ranks per player are also acceptable)
• A right to change guild picture

• A right to initiate guild polls...
• Guild Polls! Start a public or guild only poll on whatever you want and add a custom end time!

Help me add to the list if anything is missing or could be added. Guilds will be very important on Stroseria! I'm not willing to let the guild system behind it all be less than perfect!

AEON has hunting on Elan, their Classic themed world.

I just want to revisit this a little bit.

The history of the server dates back to two years ago.

The server was technically originally Nerv. Nerv was developed off and on for about a year, and eventually Forkk quit Graal so Entrok, Johan and I took over.

When Stroseria was purchased ten months ago, content from Nerv was carried over, examined, and (about 95% of it) wiped. Everything else was remade and is now on the server. While Nerv was an open project, we made the decision to make Stroseria staff-only so that we can focus. I don't regret it. I don't think ew'd be this far if we hadn't done decided upon that.

The point is, Stroseria can be pinned as in development for two years as of this month. I'm very excited!

I received an exciting from Entrok saying that the inventory is almost complete. This means that tons of systems including weapons will now be usable and he can finish a few more systems - shopping and the class system. After this? Not much. I'm not saying we'll release this month, and I'm not saying we'll release next month, but I can see the date in the future.

I'm thinking about applying for GAT but one question, Would I need gold to become a staff or can you make something work without me having to buy gold? Cause I don't have gold.

If you don't have gold you'd have to have me upload everything, plus you'd have observer mode every fifteen minutes.

:o Oh, what if there were a power to "summon" members? The leader would stand a spot they want the guild to meet, and then click the button to call the members currently online. Members recieve an on-screen notification (not a pop-up), an arrow compass would show which direction the leader's spot is, and a marker could pop up on the map. This could be a given power/right also.

I think that I will be a good server, too.
