Dangandropa is a really good anime that is still airing and is quite new , it revolves around 15/16 students being traped in a weird school, the only way to get out of this school is to graduate ! Only problem is the way you graduate , this can only been done if you commit murder and get away with it or your the last person alive !! All this tension of not being able to get out obviously makes people think about participating in this game

What's good about this anime is that you can participate by trying to guess who murdered the person/s before they do in the anime ?! As evidence and suck and such is shown

Why don't you add positive input rather than random statements to boost your post count. I've seen a post from you on literally every single thread that I've read, not that it's a bad thing, but it gets annoying.

Basically, If you don't like anime, why start a flame war posting in this thread? :dazed:

besides Monster, I already started watching it awhile ago and after the first few episodes hes pretty much never in the hospital anymore.

Black Jack and Ray the animation are dated and don't hold my interest. Couldn't find Faith. The rest of those aren't even anime. I'd neg rep if possible.

ANYWAYS if you've heard of the anime Pet Girl of Sakurasou, then you'll like this anime:
Fortune Arterial
Quote:

Fortune Arterial's story revolves around the male protagonist Kohei Hasekura, who transfers into a prestigious public school in the style of a Western six-year school encompassing junior-high and high school students. The school, named Shuchikan Academy (修智館学院 Shūchikan Gakuin?), is on an island named Tamatsu Island (珠津島 Tamatsushima?) off-shore from mainland Japan, and the only way to get there is by boat. Soon after transferring, he discovers that one of the students in the class next door to his, Erika Sendo, is in fact a type of vampire.

Unless you don't like reading, there is no anime that is doctor/medical/surgeon related.

I have been scrolling through my anime list and I remembered Kokoro Connect and had the urge to re-watch it after many months.

It's a big drama anime where a group of five friends in the same club meets this god like being who toys around with them for entertainment. Through all this their friendship is put into a big test after major events like random body switching, acting upon their greatest desire and even more tricks that ends up revealing many painful scars in their life, tearing away at their friendship and humanity. Will they be able to support each other or fall into the hands of this god?

Platinum 09-07-2013 05:45 AM

If you don't mind reading, I suggest The Liar Game or Psyren

Psyren:

Yoshina Ageha is a high school student who offers to help people with their problems for 10,000 yen. He'll take care of your stalkers, find your lost animal, whatever you want. One day when he's heading home, a nearby pay phone rings, and he picks it up. The only thing he hears however is his own voice echoing. After finding a mysterious card with the word 'Psyren' printed on it, his life suddenly changes as he is drawn into a crazy new world.

The Liar Game

From Null:
Congratulations! You are one of the 1 in 100,000 people who have been entered in the amazing LIAR GAME TOURNAMENT!

Along with the postcard there are 100 million yen in notes. That's the beginning of the Liar Game. When the game ends, in 30 days, you will have to return your 100 million. If your opponent steals them, he can keep them as a prize, and you will have a debt of 100 million...
--------------
Nao Kanzaki has been dubbed a "foolishly honest girl" for her excessive faith in the best of others. When a package arrives at her house, she, unsuspecting, opens it only to discover her admittance into the Liar Game -- a twisted, tournament game involving 100 million yen! The profits are high, but so are the prospects of losing.
Allying with an ex-convict, how will she be able to cope with the circumstances? And what is the true intent of the corporation behind the Liar Game?

A mind-boggling, psychological thriller that looks into the nature of the human mind as well as the never ending battle between truth and lies.

Talon 09-07-2013 09:20 AM

Is "The Liar Game" a death-game like Mirai Nikki or is it simply about stealing the yen without killing?

No, they don't kill but they still and use all these crazy psycological stuff. The art is crap (not the worst, like I can stand it but...) but the story makes up for it and puts it on my top 10.

Anime Season is what I use often for almost all my ongoing series.
Crunchyroll is also good, and legal, but you will need to pay for membership if you want to watch the newest released episodes and remove ads.
Best Animes is what I use often to download anime

Still highly recommend The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya to almost everyone. It's an extremely fun, and well-produced anime and I honestly can't find anything to complain about. Each and every main character is very well developed, and not a single main character feels 2D or bland. Here's a quick synopsis from Wikipedia:

Quote:

The story follows the narrator and male protagonist Kyon, a cynical and incredulous student entering high school, who is dragged along by the title character and female protagonist Haruhi Suzumiya (who is Kyon's classmate). She is an eccentric girl seeking supernatural phenomena and figures such as aliens, time travelers, and espers. She establishes with Kyon's reluctant help,a club to investigate mysterious events called the SOS Brigade. Haruhi later recruits three additional members: the laconic bibliophile Yuki Nagato, the shy and timid Mikuru Asahina, and the friendly transfer student Itsuki Koizumi. These members soon reveal themselves to Kyon as the extraordinary characters Haruhi, who is unaware of her own destructive reality warping power, is seeking. The three additional members have been sent by their various organizations to observe Haruhi and prevent these powers from being unleashed, leaving to Kyon the task of maintaining for Haruhi the illusion of a normal life.
While a few characters are deliberately created as archetypes of generic characters and acknowledged as such a first, they reveal another side of them that keeps gettin developed as the series go on. The characters literally don't stop getting more developed and lovable, not even up to the final minute in the concluding movie of the series (did I tell you the series wraps up with a movie? It's also one of the best movies I've seen in my life). The main plotline is original, and very interesting. It branches out into many other subplots and backstories which are all very satisfying and well done. The series had a very long lasting effect; I finished the series two years ago and I still enjoy rewatching the seried and movie from time to time - it may even be an annual thing for me. I'd go as far as to say this is my favorite series of all time. Give it a shot.

The movie is definitely the highlight for me, it takes the series and just explodes it in terms of character and plot development and breathes a whole new life into the story before it continues on in the manga. It was so great, I actually sat back in my chair after I finished it, and spent the whole rest of the day (week, maybe?) thinking about it.

That's not to say the series isn't good though, I agree it's a bit hard to keep up with and fully understand what's going on, but it has a great story in itself with fun characters and episodes all-around. I do feel the series is a set-up for the movie, but it did a great job at it; and for that, this will remain my favorite series for the forseeable future.

Talon 09-14-2013 08:44 AM

Just watched the movie again, I'm never going to get over how ****ing amazing it is, even after all these years.

I never remember to put the stuff I watch and read on my list xD
Also here's another anime:
Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica
She has a loving family and best friends, laughs and cries from time to time... Madoka Kaname, an eighth grader of Mitakihara middle school, is one of those who lives such a life. One day, she had a very magical encounter. She doesn't know if it happened by chance or by fate yet. This is a fateful encounter that can change her destiny—this is a beginning of the new story of the magical witch girls.

I know it sounds like a kid's show but it isn't, and is amazing.
