Don't even start with this. I said what needed to be said and I'm sticking with it. I have used PC before for recording videos if you have not seen. I know what both are like.

I'm honestly tired of even explaining them because people are constantly making up excuses. If the two were equal no one would be complaining, but they obviously aren't since people notice who uses PC and how they spar.

The ipads screen is a lot larger than a pc screen.
Also,they do have the right to play with whatever device they feel comfortable with.

Screen Size is not considered a problem. Thats more like a made up excuse rather than a big issue because that has currently never been complained upon.

Second, Lag Reduction is an issue. You do have a point there. However, the reason is because the iPhone doesn't have as much power as a Desktop/Laptop. Regardless of connection, that sums up about it.

Third, the controls aren't an issue. Thats like if i have a PS3 DualShock controller and the other player has a PS3 Arcade Stick and we both play Street Fighter. Does that mean hes gonna win right away because he got an arcade stick? No. It comes from skill and effort. Regardless of control, all you gotta do is practice and spar. Its not the Controls that make a player stronger.. but from skill

However, the only thing i can agree with you on is the Lag Reduction on the PC but thats not the fault of the internet connection itself

I'm aware of the screen difference, but the iPad has the same controls as all the other iDevices. It does have an unfair screen advantage like the PC, but again has the same controls as iDevices. I'm just tired of seeing PC's on iClassic. Keyword on the "i". Worst idea adding PC to it.

Lag reduction is untrue. For some people there is hardly a difference between the two devices. In some cases it is better, however not always.

Controls are better? That is a 100% opinion to be honest. Spar with what you prefer, or whichever is more comfortable for you. Sparring with a computer simply because it has "better controls" does not mean you are going to be better. It takes a while to get used to. I have seen this happen firsthand to me, as well as a handful of others.

Tyler, I respect you as a player, fighter, and Graalian. However, I wholeheartedly disagree with your opinion on PC users. I have seen you fight (and evidently defeat) many PC users, leading me to believe you are a great fighter with the ability to overcome any of these "advantages" you list. It is not impossible, and the advantages of having PC access far outnumbers the disadvantages.

Twilit, you stated that PC players are what makes the spar scoreboard unfair. I believe you are mistaken. As I recall, you are a good PKer. I do believe you should be higher on the PK scoreboard. However, most of the highest numbers are scores from people who hardly ever PK anymore, or have gotten the score illegitimately. The same goes for us sparrers. Most of the scores I see on the scoreboard list people who spar once or twice every so often to keep their score on the board. The score is hardly accurate. Furthermore, people with higher scores do not spar as much, so better fighters have much trouble fighting hundreds of lesser skilled fighters for the same score a less inactive fighter has. Unlike the PK board, though, numbers can go up or down.

These problems are similar, but I do not see a possible fix for the problem other than to remove scoreboards completely. However, something tells me that will never happen...

My main concern with PC I will be honest is the key technique where they can hold the the two controls and run in a straight line horizontally or freeze themselves in a lag appearing way. If they took away the ability to do that I would actually be much happier. I respect you in the same ways Shannon, but I am standing by my current stance on PC. Just from personal experience I do not view the two devices as equal. I've tried to look past the usage of PC, but whenever someone brings up the topic and asks for my input I post it and end up getting in an argument I try to avoid. If the device specific rooms are made and are successful there will be nothing more to complain about PC in the Battle Arena since a choice is made.

The controls I only have a problem with because of they key holding technique. As explained before they can manipulate a lag running pose and run horizontally in a straight line which I see used a lot and it is very annoying. The iDevice users cannot do this giving them an advantage. Screen size is an advantage for guild spar in my opinion. I have used it in a guild spar once and it allowed me to see my teammates who needed help and people coming at me easier. I mainly have a problem with the controls, but I dislike these other features as well. I guess since the iPad has a screen bigger than the PC view it isn't really a fair comparison.
