Yea I saw DeFranco's video on that and it's pretty messed up. The hypocrisy is so blatantly obvious. Too bad no one can compete with Youtube to make them get their **** together.

yeah, DeFranco made more videos about Youtube Controversy before Casey-Mass Shooting one, but that one specifically pissed everybody off. And judging by comments, community definitely agrees that Youtube is degrading. Youtube is scared/nice to big companies, meanwhile the real creators of Youtube who has their lives on this gets screwed up with such BS reasons. This is why we always need a competitor.
if DeFranco didn't use too much clickbait/rigged titles, I can post older ones where he talks about variety issues that are present on Youtube right now. Youtube in general jumped way too deep into legal laws etc. So they're avoiding to get sued by legal companies.

Demonetization thrown around like candy on halloween nowadays

They need to improve their algorithm so it stops detecting videos for no reason and make people lose out on most of the revenue due to most views coming in as soon as you upload.
Hope they resolve that as fast as they can cus it really screws over content creators and that means I'll have nothing to watch

I don't even get it. Companies aren't representing the video content they are paired next to. I understand the uproar for being paired next to ISIS videos and the sorts, but violent videos, videos with lots of cursing or crude humor? The ad companies will miss out on a lot of advertising that could reach lots of regular people if they're that sensitive.
