This is really cool. Is there any story at the lizardons known for having invaded Destiny being in the big city volcano caves? Whatever possible backstory it's nice to have more areas to kill them for the bounty quest

Most baddies in Graal way back were just sprinkled around anywhere without much reason. Lizardons were just stronger versions of the soldiers and had no actual plot purpose. They didn't even breath fire, that was a variation of the bow soldier called a dragon that breathed fire. See here:

It wasn't until Destiny was created that the lizardons got tied to any sort of plot purpose. They were just stronger enemies, so you'd see them practically anywhere they wanted a challenge. However Lizardon's seem to prefer caves so it's not impossible that they burrowed their way from the Volcano of Big City Destiny!

It's interesting to see more of the specific back stories to baddies and npcs and such. Thanks!

Why don't we have colored soldiers anymore? I think some variety would be neat.

In the graal editor there is red baddies, blue baddies, golden baddies, and also grey ones. It's just pointless to remake those for iClassic like they did with the lizardons. (the spiders don't look they were redone), Also the frog baddies are referenced by a furniture item in the server.

You can now find a cave of dark blobs in the railsystem. It's somewhat small, but given the amount of dark blobs in the rest of the railsystem and the lack of frequency the rest of the new baddy areas have gotten I'm not exactly sure it's necessary to make it larger.

But if there are complaints I can expand.

BTW if people haven't realized, cave-ins were never intended to be able to be blown up. They have always represented caves that can't be accessed. It's the cracked walls you're looking for, I see a lot of players constantly try to blow up caved-in entrances.

Seriously? Complaining? Difficult to be little thankful? It's not just spaces. This is an expansion and a much needed one to go along with the current update. I for one would rather have this than to see more players complaining about having their baddie kills stolen.

Nononononon. I mean it. It doesn't feel like it's exportable and such, I was being genuine we need more random things to help add depth.

it is really hilarious to see all the nubs wasting their bombs on those.

^^This^^

Also, I'm looking forward to the new bandit and cave blob areas. Maybe when bats and crabs are re-added they can get some new areas too.

I see how it could be taken as sarcasm, I actually do think this adds a lot of depth into Graal and more areas to explore.

Also is a draisine needed to get to the new dark blob cave? I just got ubanned on my main so I have one anyways but I might actually get on my alt every once in a while which does not have one.

None of the new areas will need items to get into.

Alright, so I assume it's in the cave that used to connect to graal city or one of those other underground places that don't need the cart?

Its pretty cool.

Good job putting the cave near the railsystem pedestal! Gives me an even better reason for having it there!

Ethacon 01-24-2017 10:42 PM

Does that place not require a draisine?
