Once you're out of school you'll quickly learn that people don't care quite as much about your quirks than you thought. Some people can't handle that people suddenly don't care or bother to notice the stuff they think makes them special, and they become either shut-ins or annoying attention seekers.

Be whatever you want, stop caring so much about what other people think, and please do not care so much about what other people are doing with their own lives.
