I prefer looking for Pixel Artists in Deviantart, PixelJoint, Polycount, and Some reddit users, and pabtforum, and etc.

Some of them may do it for free if your lucky enough, some of them mostly ask for payment. I don't know, but I follow my guts on making my own, cause i feel its my special head <3.

i dont really like the idea too much.. idk. I dont wanna overreact over lame graal pixelart stuff but they could technically just take the file and sell it for actual money so.
Its a nice idea but the stealing part is meh.
I mean even if the person is a good artist and they get accepted they could still sell someone elses gfx

Again, stealing is not tolerated. They will be banned before they can receive any money. There will be many steps before we hand out payments. ( there will be a minimum threshold that the vendor has to reach before they can cash out and there will be timed payment cycles)

Or don't do this, find pixel artists like Shadowfox or me, to make you a head. I do heads for free cause I love people seeing them using my art.
And I'm too lazy to do it... but hey, I'm working on a book too ;-;

I dont want you to make me a head... its for the community...IF you want to do it for free, sure. You can offer services for free. All we are trying to do is create a robust platform for which players and artist can find each other.

I personally think this is a really good idea.
Just make sure the testing system is good with little flaws, and this website could be a gem.
Don't start spamming me with posts about how it will be terrible, this is my opinion and I'm sure others share it too :)

let me put a example of what im trying to say:
I make a head
upload it
someone else ifiles it
lets say i never heard of that site ure workin on rn
the person who ifiled it is actually just a lazy talented gfx artist who got trough your interview
the person submits the head on your site or something and gets paid for it idk.
and i never heard about that person nor the site and see people running trough the streets of graal with my art on them
i will probably assume that they ifiled it or someone posted it on a website even tho its just some guy who gets paid for my artwork

This is what I was thinking off! It's better getting a Pixel Artist outside the Graal Community to do this, Or some well known Pixel artist who does it by scratch; Shadowfox, Latte, or someone.

I don't do requests for free unless it's a really close friend. And even if I'm offered money. I won't necessarily accept the job if I don't want to do it

Yes, there is 56 pages of free head, but players want more. Why is custom uploads so popular after all? Notice how new head and bodies get rarely released in-game now.

Yes you can upload "free" if you can make your own customs. But in reality not many players have the skill or time to make one. This is where the graal market comes in. In addition to premade customs, artists can also offer custom services. I know 1k guilds are all the rage right now. Artist can now offer services to create custom 1k guid hats.

There will be NO customs from graaldepot coming to the graalmarket.

Everybody got skills in gfx, they simply aren't doing it right.
If you're too lazy to even try to get better in gfx, you shouldn't deserve to wear good gfx, just wear the scrappy stuff you'll make that could have been better if you tried to. Plus, anybody could simply be good at gfx and pass your interview and sell stolen customs. If you don't have time to make a head, but you got time to farm until 20k, I'd tell you to get a new brain.

lol why make your own graphics when you can just steal lol

A question. Is this legal in terms of service? Can you do a business with using Graal stuff?
I just feel like Graal and money doesn't go together.

Yes, it is just pixel art until it is implemented into the game. As long as the head is made from scratch (which It will be because only approved artists will be able to sell from what I hear) since you are legally able to purchase art it breaks no rules. In the long run it is good for Graal as it creates more business for graal by uploads.

As an artist and a player I think this is a great idea, as it will provide original content and a way for players to safety aquire it. The idea is already in practice with artist providing work for players but this garuntees players will receive their content.

Graal is in the domain name though.

I think the idea of incoporating real money into this is very risky. Even if you do have several steps for a custom to be approved, there will always be ways around it. (I can't really think of any rn, but just keep in mind that almost every idea has its negatives.) Plus, think about the bugs. What if, perhaps, you purchase a custom but you never get it? It's best to stay traditional and go on other GFX websites or ask artists to make customs for you.
