Lol this is funny, once guy comes in and says he can script and everyone believes him and wants him hired. How do you know this guys not spewing random bs? You all are saying hire him because you want updates but I bet you would all cry if he deleted the whole server.

It's not funny at all really. The ones vouching for him are all old players who have been around a long time. You don't have the slightest clue what you are talking about. Don't judge someone based on their graalians.com join date.

I'm kind of confused on this. From reading through some of the posts Fp4's in particular. He seems to indicate Classic doesn't need another scripter and recommends the OP try Era or Zone who all the People who play on those servers and come on here and taint our section of the forums tout that about how those servers are so much better and have more content and more scripters/admin.

I don't see how specially right now with the resent departures of Rufus,and Albus Classic couldn't use another scripter. If he is (no offense) legit and good at it. We seem to keep losing the few good admin we have as it is.

Era is always open for good programmers/coders. You can contact callimuc if you have enough knowledge with Gs2 and he will test you out.
But since you do not seem to like a modern-like server, I suppose there's no iOS server that is hiring at your style.

But if you were good you could start off on any start PC server, either reach classic or iOS so this way you got yourself into the job legibly. :)

This is funny because I remember him staffing on gold servers when I played (only a few months). He isn't someone who randomly showed up and spewed random bs. What is your point?
You are so wrong on so many levels. First off, as a trial scripter, he wouldn't have direct access to server files but he would probably be tasked with writing certain things for other DEVS, he would prove himself before he received any rights to script directly to the server.
1: he has a notable good record
2: he wants to help classic
3: he would trial before gaining complete access
4: If he managed to damage the server after this, other staff could simply contact Stephan or Xor or someone and they would be able to go about immediately backing the server up. (There would definitely be backups set before he was given access to the server files.) It's minimal damage that would occur, compared to the vast amount of help his assuring record promises us.

Check the first and second page where, I vouched that NaS is a great scripter and has been around for years. Also the thread has been dead since page two anyway, and he has already received his answer. /thread closed lmao

Classic is basically just a server with 0 development.
If you want to script for a server, go for iZone or iEra.

Scripting is the most powerful right one can have on a server, and something as simple as access to a single level would grant a scripter very wide access to many things. It would be very difficult to "trial run" a scripter.

There is no such thing as "minimal damage" when we are talking about damage done to a live server. Even if there was a backup in place, it would be one hell of a mess to clean up.

NaS is beyond reputable. An asset to the team would be an understatement.

I see where your coming from with all your posts but the logic makes me angry. Why are we the only server so scared from getting another developer. Other servers seem to not have these problems
