Okay, seems that you guys want guns, so I have this idea:
Chests might have a 10% chance to spawn a 8 Damage Gun (Basic Bow is 17dmg). Why 8 Damage? Because you have to use your current/unlimited ammo and not arrows.
Or you can get the gun if you kill a zombie/baddy currently using this gun.

Better now?

For the people that think this will be done in 2 years *cought*, we started this project 4 days ago with just me, layerd and Jimmy (if you don't know this guy, he made the levels), later on Lavaclaw added some great ideas (some have not mentioned in here, temperature of body, hunger system etc)... Yet so far, 4 days from down, we already got this finished:
- 7x7 Forest Gmap done and filled with lots of trees (2.5 times CTF)
- The Bow and the Arrow2use system
- Chests
- Reserved Inventory
and more...
And those are the hard stuff, all the upcoming stuff are just copy & paste.

Open for more ideas guys.

About the teams, I was thinking of having it as solo, but despite the fact the round might take more than an hour, I planned something:
If there are under 20 players left and the ET stops the event, they will all be rewarded an event coin piece, if there is 1 or 2 players left, they will get a whole EC.

You can always team with each other just like in lms, but trust nobody. (If you play DayZ, you should know that by now)

Seems like in most cases, people would all opt for the EC piece rather than 1-2 winners at the end, so they'd perhaps stop fighting and request for EC pieces, which i'm sure would ruin the point of the event.

Maybe you need to decide something a little better in regards to that.
Afterall, if you have these controls in place, such as spawning enemies, decreasing map space, there should be no reason for 20 people to be left over if you force them into small areas / reduce the camping spots.

Perhaps you should add Events Team Members a 'point' system, so instead of just being able to spam random things, they have a number of points they can use that go down.

I think I can set a timer judging of the average time of survival there is.

Can you make that if you kill someone you get his hp? That would inspire people to actually play instead of hiding in the corner waiting till they are top 20

Once killed the enemy, he will drop all the items he had, so you're lucky if he had food on him.
(hm, doesn't seem logical taking hp from a dead guy (0hp guy))

I can't wait for this, it will be like playing a hunger games server on mine craft. I've always wanted dayz but I hear armatwo is hard to mod? I Havnt really looked into it, but they are making a WarZ dedicated to the game Dayz itself. An actually game not a mod.

7x7 seems a tad bit small; considering that this could be an event that supports hundreds off players, I think a larger map would allow for better hiding, hunting, and it overall being less of a glorified LMS event due to how much early fighting there would be.

If u kill like 10 people you should get like a reward like a health regen
or a speed boost or a radar or u get more points so people wont just pusy out and hide

I don't know about this, 7x7 is already big enough, CTF has less levels yet it still fits the players and they keep respawning.
So let's consider we open door for 200 people, 200 / 49 = ~4-5 players per level, just wait 2minutes and you will see the playercount has been dropped to 70-80, which leads us to 1 or two players per level. I already get lost when warping to their, yet I know how the map is made...

There is also a Feast, the Feast will be spawned somewhere in the map forcing the players to go and get it (usually, it'll be an OP bow/gun), they're willing to kill teammates for that.

You won't, staff will be tracking your every movement, and placing zombies or fire next to you.
(Warning, deforestation by fire is a major damaging event, therefore keep on running from flames)
