This is truly fascinating, the level of customization is incredible.

How much do the trees cost? do you pay for the tree and then ornaments and other stuff?

edit: 3k for the tree. Not bad, sounds quite reasonable in comparison to other prices.

Do we have to pay for alternative ornaments though? It would be cool to have random funny ornaments.

Also if I had the gralats could I technically put 20 trees in my house, or is this prevented as an optimization method?

No, there are no other buy-able ornaments just the ones that come with it.

Yes you could, there's no "tree limit".

Nice job Dusty and Fp4! The customization is very incredible! It's sad that "Holiday Tree" is now becoming politically correct instead of Christmas Tree but... Not Graal's fault I suppose. On the other hand, it would be really cool to see other furniture that can be customized as much as that tree can!

More and more companies are getting afraid to offend people by calling them "Christmas Trees" when there is no other holiday that even uses trees. I really wish they didn't do that. Anyways, really nice job on the trees. They are very nice and detailed and surprisingly affordable.

Man do i love graal!

I'm thinking about buying a few then after Christmas I can use them to build a "forest" in my house or guild house. These are really nice though.

I will need to so some work at pyrat bay, need this...

LiA 12-13-2012 10:42 PM

I bought 8 trees. I wanted to make a Forrest too. They should allow us to set none for the bottom part of the tree instead of having red, green & blue xD.

Blueh 12-13-2012 10:53 PM

I use green since its closest to grass lol. Still need more money before I can even think about making my forest.

Hmm, having a trunk alternative could be possible I suppose.

INCORRECT
Arbor day, plus:
various tribes of Native Americans viewed trees as wise ancestors and would pay tribute to the oldest largest ones, such as the colony of huge trees, Pando, the oldest organism on earth, and also the heaviest organism on earth.

Maori in New Zealand worshiped one of the many extremely old trees in the world, i think its name translates to "father of the forest".

various small religions and people considered trees as special, in fact, the whole christmas using a evergreen thing isnt really original nor a vital part of the story behind the religion, and was actually taken from other religions/cultures.

It's Tane Mahuta, which translates to Lord of the Forest, and he's named after the god of the forest Tane, who was one of the most heard about / important gods.

Not sure if the tree really was worshipped as such, but it's a pretty big tree.
