He is just making the game more fair for the people who don't have money enough to waste them on a overpowered gun.

Otherwise just make a gun specially designed for tts.

Totally agreed. One good gun with decent stats which is the ONLY gun u can use. Kinda like in Laser Tag where u could only use the laser gun and nothing else. :)

Just add Olirus' gun that he made, make it 7/8 damage, low freeze rate and tada.

Didn't read the thread, just the title.

Event Team Members are pretty free to create their own rule-sets for certain events such as TTS, I believe it adds a bit of uniqueness to each Event Team Member and their individual events, if you do not wish to participate using these select rules, please opt out of such events and wait for another events team member to host.

As a prime example, I make my own rules in regards to explosive chance, I add a unique spin on top of the regular gameplay, John is merely doing this exact same thing by adding a little extra competition into tag tag team rather than PBP Shotgun being sprayed in such a small area.

I may even have a command made to disable the PBP Shotgun as a special "Rule set" so it is easier to police.

Wow, do you even know how long to wait till a event team member is hosting?
If you make a pbp option? Make a bar, sten, m3, m1, acr, shipka, glock, etc. setting...

this is what happens on a server where money is a factor in weapons, and where guns arent all balanced and equal,

so sad.

This has nothing related to money making :/ John is actually discouraging people from buying the pbp as if they do they won't be able to use it in the event :/

I like John's decision. If you look where the tts is located, it's located under skill. Using PBP in that small arena, any nub can win. I prefer skill spars rather than spam me spars.

Snake you should also make an option only M4, Famas, or those single shot weapons. Skill sparring <3

What about fatnoobs idea :( that will totally determine who deserves the win as everyone would have the same gun, hence the best man with the best skill will win, not the best gun :)

because single shot weapons are relatively balanced as is. Limiting to only one gun takes away the skill factor because people practice with different guns
