If you really want something decent for cheap just get an ATH-M50, probably the best entry-level set

MBK 07-27-2015 05:51 PM

Could you recomend something around... 100 dollars?

Talon 07-28-2015 08:33 AM

Can easily find them lightly used around $100

Need some help. What type of headphones are the best for working out and do you have any recommendations for under $150(prefer headphones that I could wrap around my ear). Sound quality is not as important as the material/product quality for me.

Would you mind going wireless? Those are probably your best option by far for that if you don't care about SQ.

You can get $5-15 rap around headphones at Wal-Mart

I would actually prefer wireless(plan on doing a lot of cardio), so I don't have to deal with the cables.

I rather invest on something with a reputation for durability.

Aguzo 08-13-2015 01:13 AM

supposedly these are good, but idk sometimes brands are just the hype.

If you don't mind wired then, the Shure SE215 is great. Amazing sound quality, comfort and durability. I've played full-length basketball games and workout drills with them, never have any problems with falling out or seal breaking or anything. Just gotta tuck it in my shirt.

If you do want to go wireless and really don't care about sound quality at all, I feel like the JBL Reflect should suit you well if all you're looking for is durability and portability.

No they're not good at all, and yes it is 100% hype alongside every other Beats product except the sweet amp/dac in my phone.

You can also find cars for under $500.

Those will be terrible, I've already had 2 mess up on me. I'm on my 3rd one, plus they are super uncomfortable for long periods of time. Either the hardness hurts the ear, or the cushion earpiece itches after a while.

Yeah I researched more on beats, and they are apparently bad. Just the hype and name brand, because it is overpriced and celebrities use them a lot. Kind of like the iphone and mac, basically any apple product...

Talon 08-13-2015 10:10 PM

Eh, actual music artists never use Beats in their studio recording or monitoring sessions. They're just hella overpaid to wear them outside for the media. Athletes too, but even then I bet most know better than to wear Beats outside of the public eye.

Thx for the help. I think these are the ones I'm going for.

Talon 08-15-2015 10:24 PM

Cool. Never had a single complaint about em, so I think you'll love em

5hift 08-23-2015 08:27 PM

Somebody wanna recommend me a pair of earbuds with a mic, volume control, non-bluetooth, won't break after 2 months of use (Apple Earpods) and around a $25 budget?

Talon 08-23-2015 10:16 PM

Earbuds or IEMs?
