First season of TG was still a **** rushed adaptation. Second season all the change was where Kaneki went in the first few ep otherwise it was practically the same and stilled sucked.
Pierrot really screwed up it's adaptation.

Nobody cares much anymore about PARASYTE but oh well!

Completely agree. I don't doubt they had no idea what to do after Gotou, and so the last episode was what we sadly got. It's such a shame, if the ending was the quality of Death Note's or the Liar Game's then I would've rated it 10/10.
I haven't read the manga of Parasyte, but how much does the Tokyo Ghoul anime differ from the manga? I haven't watched tg.

To the contrary, the OST is what keeps me going when doing homework.

The anime could had expanded to be a lot cooler, but it didn't. Sadly. I still really like it. Migi is probobaly one of my favorite anime characters ever.

I didn't like the second half, minus the very last or so episodes. But at the same time I was getting bored of the same old L vs Light.

Thanks :D

Ill read the manga later but I went ahead and read Vol. 1

My Review/Overview:
Spoiler

So you have the basic hero Bell who wants to get stronger (and meet lots of girls in the process.) If you watched the first episode of the anime you know he has that "special skill", he isnt ever told of this but his stats grow pretty dam high. The godess feels useless of course so she goes and begs to her friend to get another dagger and wants to give it to bell. In the meantime Bell is grinding and flirting with a bunch of babes, although we dont see much of the blondie. Sort of like Log Horizon or SAO, plots.
To put it in a few words, girls start to fall for him and he gets incredibly strong then fights a giant leopard thing and kills it in one hit.

I dont know how you guys will critique it or how it will differ in the anime; Volume 2 is coming out in 18 days so when that comes out ill post another update.

Id give it an overall 6/10 Just because its sort of a repetitive theme we see often (even voiced by kirko's voice actor) and the character development is eh you dont see to much of it.

Here is a picture of the final page in the book giving an overall stat growth:

would you rather have Light vs L for the rest of the series, or what we were given.

cause Light vs L was entertaining as ****.

GlazeyB 04-06-2015 07:33 AM

okay

can we talk about how much better the OP/ED got for Unlimited Budget Works?

twilit 04-07-2015 12:02 AM

I agree. I skipped UBW's 1st OP most of the time; Ill probably listen to this one all the time.
Did ufotable's animation get even better, or has it just been that long since seeing such beauty?

Someone explain to me about Plastic Memories. I love android series, but i wasnt sure about this one.
I dont like the direction MAPPA is going; im not sure if ill try Punch Line either..

GlazeyB 04-07-2015 12:53 AM

Plastic Memories follows repo people for androids that are about to expire, each android (so far) becomes attached to their owners and vise versa. Some try running away so they can still be together, some simply deny talking to the repo people, some know that they have to and say their goodbyes.

MC gets the job, not knowing what it really is, gets paired with an android that's close to her expiration date. It's gonna be feels in the end.

What direction don't you like about MAPPA? Cause this guys are ballin'. Teekyu, Terror in Resonance, Garo, Rage of Bahamut. Hit after hit.

Survival Strategy!

So, it's been awhile since I've been on this graalians site and knowing that its the start of a new anime season and many of guys are geared to watching this seasons of anime.
This hidden gem I found is:Mawaru Penguindrum
Some people may have heard of it or have watched it already but for the people who have not i would like you to take a look at it. I for one was very skeptical when I first started watching it and will admit that for me it was slow in the beginning. But has I delved deeper into its story and the animation/music around it became amazing. The story is like Durarara/baccano-esque. In the beginning you don't really know what is going on or why things are happening, but as the story starts to unravel piece by piece everything ties in together. The story itself is revolved around fate and destiny.

Here is the synopsis from MAL:
Spoiler
Once you make a decision, does the universe conspire to make it happen? Is destiny a matter of chance, a matter of choice or the complex outcome of thousands of warring strands of fate? All twins Kanba and Shoma know is that when their terminally ill sister Himari collapses at the aquarium, her death is somehow temporarily reversed by the penguin hat that she had asked for. It's a provisional resurrection, however, and it comes at a price: to keep Himari alive they need to find the mysterious Penguin Drum. In order to do that, they must first find the links to a complex interlocking chain of riddles that has wrapped around their entire existence, and unravel the knots that tie them to mystifying diary and a baffling string of strangers and semi-acquaintances who all have their own secrets, agendas and "survival strategies." And in order for Himari to live, someone else's chosen destiny will have to change. It's a story of love, fate, life, death... and Penguins!

This show uses a lot of symbolism to portray the scenes to its viewers. From what I said doesn't appeal to you or something then this show might not be something you would find an interest in.
