You know what, I'm going to rewatch that anime again. The first time I watched it I ****ed up with the episode order which was a huge deal for an anime involving time traveling. I still ship Mayuri and Okabe OTP 4ever.

Am I the only one un satisfied with Parasyte's ending? I'm happy that they showed what happened after all the events occurred... (I'm looking at you DanganRonpa)

No, I didnt care much for the ending either..
ep22 had awkward pacing, very different from the rest of series.
ep23 "ok were cram all this philosophical **** into one episode, but in the end, instead of giving the 'whos the real monster' theme people are expecting, were gonna give it an environmental message." and migi and shinichi change their minds 3x+ about killing Gotou.
ep24 "ok, the OP villain is dead. weve been going in no particular direction all this time, so how are we even supposed to wrap this up?.."

I hope thats not too harsh. Parasyte really was an amazing show, but those last 3 episodes werent satisfying. But dont shoot the anime studio; Madhouse adapted it perfectly.

Hey at least it stayed true to the manga *COUGH* TOKYO GHOUL *COUGH*

Very disappointed with the Aldnoah.Zero ending. Everything that I wanted never happened,
if only Urabachi sticked with the anime may it come true. All I asked for was
Spoiler
for Slaine to die and Inaho to get with Asseylum, but what we got was no one dying and Inaho getting NTR'd by count "came three episodes ago".

I'd much rather prefered season 1 ending over the true ending.

Any anime recommendations, any type is fine.

Shirobako if you haven't yet, a must watch watch for anime fans. A great show to allow us understand how we get our medium made. It is a bit overwhelming in the beginning with the amount of different characters being thrown at you, however as you understand each ones purpose in making anime, you become more appreciative of them and in the end you'll be connected to many different one of them, wishing for a season two.

Most series completed last week; New series dont start until next week ~> aaaand its anime dead week. Time to watch stuff ive wanted to watch for awhile. Probably start with log horizon, then aldnoah.zero.

Someone mentioned Patema Inverted a few pages back; watched that last night. Excellent movie, made me very happy.

Anyone see that latest Durarara x2?

Spoiler
**** is getting real.

I finally decided to see the last tokyo ghoul episode (I didnt because I was so in love with the anime despite its ups and downs) And tbh, it wasnt all that bad. They didnt end off on a bad cliff hanger, its pretty clear what might happen and what might not, however the return of the original song "Unravel" was still a surprise but somehow fitted
Spoiler
the death of kaneki's bestest friend that was on the cover of the anime under the blanket
I respect that they showed the sad aspect instead of the action type, besides even if it had a cliffhanger, it wasnt a very large one in my opinion and all will be revealed in season 3 this summer.

Cross Ange had a really satisfying ending.
Spoiler
If it weren't for Tusk and Momoka having something worse than plot armor, plot armor that isn't explained
along with a few smaller details, could of been great. 7/10.

Seven Deadly Sins had an okay ending, talked about it a little bit a page or so ago. Only six of the sins are in the show, the manga isn't that far ahead and the seventh has yet to be in it. Plot armor for everyone, slow start. 8/10

Saekano. Hilarious, 4th wall breaking, references everywhere. Just a whole bunch of goodies. Also, shout out to Gurren Lagann in that last episode. 9/10.

Parasyte had a good ending, amazing animation. The biggest thing holding this show back is the soundtrack, the OST wasn't that good and holds it back. 9/10

Aldnoah.Zeros ending was 50/50 for me.
Spoiler
I wanted Slaine to live because he just did what he thought was right, that and Inaho is a **** MC. #TeamSlaine. The S1 ending completely overshadowed this because of how troll it was. I'm also disappointed that Princess went with Yoshi instead of Mario or Lugi
Got tired of hearing the same two ****ing tracks for combat scenes. Kill la Kill had the same problem. (DON'T LOSE YOUR WAY). Aside from all that, the animation was good and the 3D was surprisingly well done. Combat scenes were fantastic 8/10

and S3 for Log Horizon will be awhile. I am sadden by this.

GlazeyB 03-30-2015 08:18 PM

okay tokyo ghoul, i know you probably ran out of money but come on man

GlazeyB 03-30-2015 09:36 PM

Death Parade is by far the best show of the season. just so good. Everything about it makes it amazing. Here's hoping they continue the series.

Nep 03-30-2015 09:56 PM

mhm i watched it when it first came out, then watched it all just before last ep lol, it was good ^^
