Budget: $50
Music Preference: Mostly metal, but somewhat all-around Form Factor (Type): Headphones Open-backed or close-backed (not for IEMs): Open, but I could really care less Source (MP3 player/desktop/etc): Guitar amplifier(Fender Mustang I(V2)) Above everything else: Sound quality |

A little out of your price range, but should do you well. http://www.amazon.com/Marshall-04090...all+headphones And if you can afford these, they're by far and away the best sub-$100 option: http://www.amazon.com/Grado-Prestige...keywords=grado |
I got Beats Solo for Christmas, but unfortunately I don't enjoy using them. I prefer headphones that are light and mobile, but don't want to buy $5 headphones anymore. I'll be using it for skype, fitness, and gaming.
Budget: $30 Music Preference: rap, indie, electro. definitely not dubstep Form Factor (Type): in ear Open-backed or close-backed (not for IEMs): Source (MP3 player/desktop/etc): macbook & iphone What's above everything else?: at $30 or under; broke college life :( |

http://www.meelec.com/M9_Classic_In_...p-m9-bk-ff.htm And then at the max of your budget, there's this, which is one of the most popular entry-level in-ears among the community. Definitely what I'd recommend the most: http://www.amazon.com/SoundMAGIC-PL3..._1427050018894 Could probably find it at $30 or cheaper on eBay: http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item...d=301354625778 And then like corno said there's always the Senn CX300 or CX250 out there too. |

Hey guys!
I break headphones really easy, and im done with studio type headphones because I like to listen outside and that kinda defeats the purpose...and they bounce and come off. So I'm looking for earbuds (please not like some thing that cost $9.99). But anyway, what do you think fits my type? Budget $50 or less, preferably....less lol Music Type: mostly rap nothing too loud Preferable earpiece type: Earbuds/curves(around ear, but they tend to be 'ugly') Source(s): laptop, MP3 (phone), etc. Uses:Netflix(+TV), Basketball, just chilling. Not looking for anything rinky-dink but something that plays music in its true quality :) |
How do you know so much about this??

Bumping because I found (AND GOT TO ****ING TRY) Sennheiser's HD800 and my dream headphone, the HD700s in Tokyo's famous Akiba department store. Even unamped through my ****ty HTC, I had an audiogasm
Though I've got to say the HD800s are not worth the $2000 retail upon first listen. But then again it was very short time in a noisy environment without an amp so I'm sure I wasn't doing it right. Still would buy HD700s for $750-1000 tho, they were incredible edit: holy **** just checked the HD700s are only about $500 street price (wow I said "only 500 for headphones"). when my next paycheck comes in I think I'm gonna ****ing buy em |
2000$ headphones...
|
they actually sell for about $1000 nowadays, they're fairly old. sad I didn't get to try audez'e here, guess they're not big in Japan. did get to try a few $1000+ Audio Technicas tho :D
Wish America had more stores like this or like any at all that aren't occasional meetups |

Lol i had to google "Technica" to see what it was. This is the first time i've ever seen an audiogeek(no offence) in my life. :D |
there's swarms of us over at head-fi, but the vast majority of audiophiles are at least 30+ so that's probably why
