Moment I seen who the server was collectively run by I knew to stay the hell away :D Admittedly the server lasted a few days less than expected.

Well for the past 6+ months I've either hosted a server for another Graalian or worked on hosting a server for all. Granted, this one didn't go as well as it could have, but for you to basically say that I am and always will be damned basically is kinda out of line. It's not fair for you to pin one or even two single circumstances to my name forever. I wish you'd stop slamming me every chance you get. I don't want to say "look at how I help everybody now I'm better than you," because that isn't true. But I have genuinely tried to make the game better for people.

The main reason why this won't work is because I want to play the server. I can't OP and play simultaneously. It just doesn't work. I think I will simply host a normal server similar to the old mc.graalians.com server instead. I will put my knowledge about Minecraft and Bukkit--and my good computer--to some use. Beholder, give it some time and see how it goes. Maybe you can even try ît yourself. Just please keep an open mind.

Matt. You had an amazing idea for a server. I would recommend getting the plugin factions, which lets players make factions, which can either be peaceful, or war factions. This would make it clear when someone is at war. Check it out and see:)

My idea is forts. The battle never actually takes place in the town, but at the forts. Each kingdom has a few forts surrounding their town, then the enemy must capture it and replace the flag with theirs. Then they need to capture the castle. That way, you don't have people like happycat freaking out because higbey took his shiz and burned his house down. Then when the war ends, if the attacker wins, both leaders set a treaty. This would include what items they'd give the other one and that the fighting is going to stop.

Higbey, you could've destroyed Stroseria a little later, once the server was fully developed. None of the defenses etc. were set up, and people were just starting or finished building their house and kingdom. Then you go and blow up Stroseria and the server... That's uncool. So what if it's in the rules? You just spoilt it. And you're not a demon, you're a Human.

If he was a demon, at least he'd have an excuse for annoying everyone...

This server will be released later this week. At that point a new thread will be released explaining the exact changes.

The main differences are this:

• OPs can't claim citizenship of any kingdom
• No griefing unless in a raid that must be enacted by a OP

That being said, if anybody wants to be an OP they should forum PM me. If anybody is interested in leading a kingdom from the start, post in this thread. There will be at least two kingdoms to start with a high chance of three and even a slight chance of four.

I'd suggest killing only be allowed I times of raids.

That being said, I would not be a good leader for a kingdom.

Matt, I'd love if I could start a kindgom at the begining of the servers reopening. I've just been filled with ideas ever since you announced this new server :D

i dont want to brag, but im pretty good at building, i was a set designer for the minecraft movie and made almost all of stroseria, and the sky bridge, and my giant underwater sea serpent skeleton.

id love to rebuild since hopefully with the new rules it wont be griefed... maybe the war areas and living areas should be seperate, and none of this locked furnace abuse...

I'm with Higbey on this one. If MattKan can't follow his own rules, what's the point of even having the server? The server would have never worked anyways, unless everyone on there loves endless rebuilding.

im not fighting over it, im already over the little failure we had and im ready to work again, i understand i should he taken it slower, i was just afraid mattkan or fireen or scaal (only people that would actaully fight me) would find me so i figured this would be my only shot at attacking so i did my worst, scaal actually did more damage to the town than me i think, i just sorta finished it off, i left the sea side dock and trebuchet though...

Okay. Anyway, maybe the raid area and domestic area should be different, nobody wants to build if they know it will be destroyed, you need a protected area of the town and prebuilt equal raid things that can be easily repasted. Just make the raid area, copy it, paste it far away in a unreachable protected area, and just paste it back after the raid is done to autorepair damage.

Except for destroying half the server when the leader of his faction specifically told him to stop, there was not a war on.

Yeah after a war took place and matt tried to force him to rebuild it and yelling at him and such.

i think the point is i thought it was a war, and all chaotic told me was to not destroy it completely or mattkan would shut down the server. as for your homes, scaal had already done a number on them allready, i just finished it off.

anyway can we stop arguing about it? it doesnt really matter anymore, i was just doing my job and i believed there was a war on, and nobody told me until after the fact, so it appears everyone is just scapegoating me because their stuff was destroyed and the server was shut down, i didnt go in there not letting anyone know, i challenged people but no one would tell me that it wasnt war, and nobody fought me,

i had to pee and went afk in the castle, i came back to find nothing had happened and nobody had tried to kill me... seriously i didnt exactly do it quickly, i took a good hour-half hour , did you really need a leader to tell you "attack the green guy destroying crap"? also i didnt take it to the ground, i left remants, and left a entire building, the docks, untouched. it was the only thing not allready attacked,
