LOL I couldn't agree more. As pre-described. Yes it was a very unnecessary removal.

Hi I'm here to respond

Now to get back to the initial purpose of this thread before the drama:
Although I'm not a developer I think I can safely say that the NGS is still going to be a thing. That's the whole reason box fort was implemented in the first place, to beta test different aspects and layouts of towers. It was also a teaser in a way for what's to come.

(Also there is no one on the staff team named Bana so I don't consider him/her a reliable source js ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)

Would be cool if temporary rewards were just christmas gifts with tower-themed items/hats (horns, wings, masks, helmets,---- whatever. Not saying I personally like those kind of hats, but it seems to me that's the kind of trend we've seen with tower-hats )

Earn tokens as a guild for various things like total guild-kills milestones, Tower Hours, etc and redeem them for a present or two. I don't think this is extremely hard to code; but who am I to say?

Also, this would fix "noob recruiting" as they would earn temporary tokens too.

NGS will likely come around 2020. By then, the servers will be decimated (as we've seen a severe downward spiral for the servers in recent time) and the implementation of the NGS will actually kill the game lol. Even if this prediction is wrong, i have a gut feeling the NGS will be a huge disappointment. Probably will just be a system that hackers exploit where admins "don't notice."

What we really need for the NGS is a system that rewards all fields. Everything from house rating to to towering. At the end of the season, there a top3 for the guilds that did the overall best in all fields, and each category (sparring/towering/etc;) has a top3 aswell. Could lead to some sparring guilds/baddy killing exclusive guilds mixed in. That makes the most sense to me. There are a lot of little details that would make the NGS better or worse. For example, the MoD guild library now being old and outdated could get a revamp, with many more bookshelfs. Could fill in all the GST winners since they stopped updating, and also maybe the #1 in each thing per season. Old system on the left side, new system on right side.

I also don't agree with the idea of towering hours being removed in the new system. Maybe they should remain as a cosmetic on the guild page, or there should be plaques given for 1k/5k/10k milestones to all members.

I'd also like to see spar rooms revamped. A spar room which only allows north americans to queue, among other things like a "noob only" room to prevent boosters/noob hunters. GST winners should get a belt added to their furniture, a gralat reward, and the usual hat/belt. Something I don't support is the GSTs merging. I think there being an idev/mixed bracket makes sense. If i'm an idev gser, i'd rather enter a GST bracket with only other idevs.
I could see a lot of good/bad with the NGS. Clandestine/Omnes have already tried to build up guilds with a balanced mix of all competitive communities, it'd be nice to see this rewarded.

I'd also like to see guildsparring rewarded season round. Not sure some good specifics on a system for that, but something that accounts for the amount of people on each team/the 1v1 ratio of each member maybe/and how long the match lasted. Example if it was a 2v2 and the match lasted 3 seconds, no points should be awarded cause its obviously boosting.

Another VERY hypothetical idea, season round GST. Teams guildspar for points first week of season to make the top32 for mixed/Idev. Then theres firstround one week, teams that got firstrounded are eliminated. Next week is second round, teams can make changes to their roster and whatnot. A very hypothetical idea.

Dear developers, i know youre not reading this because you dont care what the community says, but please make the ngs good.
