Really is annoying when every time I log on, the only people at Mod are 100% either Brazilian or Filipino. They all suck, but they all lag like ****.

Its the whole tutorial itself its very boring and plain. A lot of my friends irl have tried graal but they have no idea what to do. I have to physically be there just to explain how to register, how to get the flipper, how to get gralats and literally everything else.

The problem is that people try graal for 30 minutes wondering around not knowing what to do because the tutorial is very lacking :\

So fair. I lost access to my old account and downloaded the game recently to have a look, and the tutorial is genuinely pretty useless. There's no lead in to what you can actually do in the game either - I'm pretty sure the only reason people start seeking out the flippers and the like is from seeing other players use them and asking how.

i know most of you guys think we are a pain in the ass, and i understand it cuz.. i wouldn't like if a lot of players start to talk in a language that i dont understand..
the solution would be speak in english, but you hardly see one that does speak english, most of them are child (just like most of graalians) and doesn't speak another language
but do not generalize it.. i know a lot of very nice and cool foreign players from philipina, or japan, or arabs, europe, etc.. and this is something very very very very cool about graal, meet new cultures and get to know ppl all around the world

This is very cute and I agree. Graal is the key to world peace and we are all enlightened by her glow. However it'd probably be for the best if existing players couldn't congregate around the tutorial.

Well.. since a lot of people tend to congregate all over Graal, I propose that we add "islands" or something as a way to contain some of them. For example, we can have a Brazilian themed island where all the Brazilians can hang out away from the mainland. It will be complete with Brazilian Npcs and signs and houses that features Portuguese text so they can understand in-game stuff. We can even add some mini games to keep them occupied. Everyone's happy. But I guess the trick is getting them to go and stay there lol

I like the idea of not being able to return to balamb once you first leave... I mean, the island has no point beyond the fact that it's the starting place.

I really like this idea, So the new people won't get the wrong idea of the game.

Filipinos can read English, almost everyone who lives here does. Just cause you've seen them talking in Tagalog doesn't mean that's the only language they know, we've been invaded by Americans and forced to learn English at school for a very long time for God's sake.

Yes we do have terrible accents that make us sound horrible when speaking english but most if not all us can in fact speak and read english.

just a response to OP, Graal can't do anything about it. If they force people to speak English, the app will be banned from iTunes/Google Play. however they can prob divide up the server by the language/region.

The Brazilian Problem
 

I really enjoyed the graal purge, i remember spawning in outside the Battle Arena and this other dude was stood next to me wondering what the hell was going on, so we ran inside and met up with a few others who were wondering the same question.

Probably the <100 hrs idea wouldn't solve the problem of tons of new Brazilians, as a lot of them probably don't even play that long.

The title of your post sounds like a racist, I do not see the problem of the Brazilians staying around, I know there are a lot of afk players, the game has a tutorial in the English language ...

The number of South American players has been growing thanks to the number of players, recommendations from friends through social networks, youtube, facebook, etc.

Most Brazilian players are not inactive or aggressive as some say, so I'm sure people who say that, because they did not live with us at all

I don't think there is much to be done about this. Since many Brazilian players suddenly started playing graal, they all met up in the starting area, (Balamb), and generally colonized the island since there were other Brazilians there.

It's possible many Brazilian players cannot speak English, so they simply do whatever they want. They don't understand anything outside of Balamb since all the Brazilians are at Balamb 24/7, and all they can do is interact with their own people since it's very difficult to try and communicate with someone from another place in the world.

I suggest we keep it this way, as well for every other country and their areas around Graal. As long as they're in their areas, they won't be bothering us non-laggers/delayers in the Battle Arena or towers. The tutorial is in English, so anyone who speaks English will know how to leave Balamb anyway. Brazilians or other non-English speaking people are probably too young to know anything about moving about in a game.
