How can delteria be released to iOS if the pc version isn't all that great in the first place?

^^^Reveal the tileset to show players or some of theses 'images' he/she is already creating.. Players and community should have evidence of stuff actually being done literally anyone could come here and say 'yeah it's done, we using it now' 'covered tiles with blue to say what's done' that's not evidence at all and for how long stuff like that has been said is just leading players along and if you have nothing to show for that then most will eventually get fed up and leave game lots already have.

From recent choices that were made, it could mean that the tileset wont be coming soon.

Back in June, like the 28th or something, chelt (i believe it was chelt) made this comment (along side with a forum post that chelt was confident about the changes made):

From this i take that what chelt/staff said months ago has changed, which things do, suggesting the tileset wont be coming anytime soon.

kinda sad that they're letting that paid tileset artist get away with getting paid while slacking off, you could tell he's not doing **** and getting ez money if they fired that lazy bastard and replaced him then there would actually be a finished tileset for show.

but its whatever now since zone only has 1/5 of the players left. eh izone was never a good server anyway too bad umixmad was too greedy to let it go.

I think Chelt said the tileset is done and they're working on the GMAP and they still have the artist making images and probably adding some tiles if needed. To be honest, around December 1st would be the best time to release the new GMAP. Completely new tileset, Christmas events/decorations around the map could intice people into coming on zone to see it & maybe try zone out.

Having different rewards has nothing to do with tileset...

He said literally few week back he'll update us on it and like week ago 'they are using it now' 'paid gfx is now making images'
So it's being done APPARENTLY hence why it should be shown. I mean who the hell would pay for something to be fully completed/near complete then not even use. So it's either being done(still need pic of tileset-OR some of the images to get feel of server-than a whambamfam get what you're given) or it's not being done at all/never was.

Out of curiosity how much would you value a tileset in price.i.e if I said make spaced themed with parts being futuristic/advanced what would it cost? or estimates of time will take to be made/hrs of completion.

If I were working for free I'd finish a tileset between 1-2 months, let alone if I were being paid. That's just me though, because I have a particular interest in making tiles.

Although im not a gfx guy I can probally edit some tiles and post something here for what I think it should look like.

Yeah totally agree if he aint going to show tileset or least few images like I said awhile back be prepared for the 'We will ask unixmad/we've asked unixmad if we can change tileset blahblahblah' (Even that they have full rights on updates something this big-on how game looks would need his approval and also would need to get app store images changed etc to show how it is etc..[If they haven't already discussed/got authorisation on tileset I'll say it's pretty likely that it won't happen at all]

probably 2-3 months if it has to be pretty detailed
1 month if its something on shangri-la's level, but pixelart instead

Interesting, another question who's actually paying for this tileset now as I really doubt chelt would pay that sort of money on a server he doesn't even care about in the first place and just waiting for delteria ios to go back there.. and unix seems oblivious to this even happening.

Claims who? he's never/barely ever logged onto zone(even more unlikely as was stefan's home back intheday) and there isn't any statement about it what I've seen, even when asked he avoided the question completely for a 'hey' instead lol

he was when Tashkin started the project for getting a new tileset. Plus no one's going to pay $ out of their own pocket to benefit a business that they volunteer as a staff member for. It's a business expense - and investment.

I feel like iZone could have one of the most detailed tilesets than the others due to it being in space, I mean you can only do sand, grass, and concrete so good. But in space there is a lot more than just basic stuff.

I dont know about you guys but I'd prefer a silver themed tileset.

I feel like zone always deserved a tileset with a combination of concrete slum and metallic futurism with neon lights

You should be used to it with Delteria, (based on the iOS release stuff) but to your point: yes, this is zone.

By now it seems like announcing the whole revamp was a mistake. Not because it isn't happening (it is happening) but rather because everyone either expects it to be done tomorrow or is super salty about it.

On zone there are many things being worked on, different system revamps, etc. Everyone complains that they don't know what's going on, yet when I present and talk about stuff it normally gets raged at for not being done. And if things that are being planned get delayed or scrapped, all hell breaks lose.

i don't mind if it is not done soon, but an update on how far it is would be lovely.

It is ready to work with and already being worked with. We are only adding new ideas right now to it, the layout of what we are building is also done.

But we paused the map, since Alpho and I had a talk about a way to make layers work. If that works, or does not work, the progress on the map will continue. Yet if layers work we have to start the Map from scratch, and therefore it has been paused. (Edit: Alpho does not work and develope for Zone, we just thought about joining forces on this one ^_^)

Our graphics artist is designing buildings, etc right now.

A big chunk of the team is busy with Halloween.

I myself an currently juggling a tour through Germany and Europe with limited data, bad Internet and graal. So I might not log on a daily basis in October.

Until you show evidence like stated of the actual tileset itself(put a watermark or random stuff through it if not wanting fully shown) or show images that are being made/completed.. Otherwise anyone can say i've made this, i've made that but hey where's that evidence.

Sure thing bravo if any of this is being done but literally everyone has heard this all before since classic 'coming soon' days rip remi/marion -quests, rip delteria ios years from now release, rip content updates.

Hey guys I've made new completed server it's like iclassic but actually has quests aswell as having the forts alltime ldrbd even has a spaceship that flys me to zone, it's super easy to earn money also has really unique stuff it's actually on ios but y'know just keeping for myself atm because y'know I can and you'll just have to believe me and maybe in few years when my times up I'll pass the burden on to someone else and you'll forget I even had all this stuff because you'll be fed up of the fake promises etc but hey guys it's coming for real it's all happening you know why because I said it is.. you can't have any images or pictures though because that's sure going to spoil everything your going to see anyway.

I don't think anyone doubts that the tileset is being made and is at the level of progression that Chelt stated. The problem is people think these projects won't actually get 100% done and released. Zone has had countless projects in the past that were "in progress" but never saw the light of day. Zone players are pessimstic because of that happening many times. The problem with teasing updates right now is that there's nothing occupying zonians' time until that update is released. Everything we currently have is a complete mess (missions, basing, and... that's it? Oh, trading) so these updates are the only things going for Zone. It's not like Zone players see the M bases sign and think "oh that will be cool when that's released", instead they think "When will it be released?". And then that thought just builds up as time goes on, since that's what Zone players are used to.
