The issue is the same which I ran into with a 'voting' mechanic during house contests - the people who advertise more will get more votes...

Limiting the number of votes per person might change it. I had blocked like 300 or 400 people by the end of 1 month voting in order to prevent them from voting twice... and then unblocked and messaged them all the winner. Probably easier to do with administrative powers...

Another potential would be to have 'nominations' for best house, or categories (under 1000 hours, over 1000 hours?)... maybe if prizes were involved.

I really liked this one. The house was good enough that I didn't even mind they snuck in a path through bushes.

she only has 41 likes? looks like someone needs to advertise their house more..

the leadboard system only benefits people who afk to advertise their house. balancing it is up to the community, but unless everyone takes a step at pushing those houses to the top so people who enter the top ranked houses will enter those instead of the codeshops of people who afk in graal city, nothing will change. I feel like the ability to give likes freely, instead of say, 10 monthly likes will keep the system unbalanced. but hey, maybe it will eventually balance itself like fp4 claims.

If it were a scenario where 'likes over time' were calculated... and there were some incentive NOT to like houses that are just blindly thrust upon random new players... but there's not.

Also, the 'like' button doesn't always appear upon entering some one's house... sometimes it remains as whatever the icon was before you went in.

How do I view my house's likes? I also think lifetime likes on your house should be displayed somewhere, maybe in your profile. I would love to be able to keep track of how many likes I've received total (:

There is never any love for guild houses =\ I wish they would redo the guild house system as they're useless for guilds. Rename them "big houses" and make them openable to the public at the very least

I wish they raised the number of people that be in a house at once with this update, that would have been nice.
