You keep contradicting yourself. First off, what does a clown nose have anything to do with sparring?

Secondly, you say that sparrers have been complaining forever that they don't like the big, obnoxious hats, but this isn't true? They've complaining forever that they didn't like the battle style hats, so those got changed.

Thirdly, how many wing hats do you think can be made? Or how many clown noses? Or how many crowns? Or how many shoulder pads? They've been redone so much already, it would get to the point where they would be edits and then people would complain about that.

That doesn't answer any of his questions. The Classic GFX Team is more than willing to cater to popular demand, but not when you can't be constructive about what you want.

OG you aren't really explaining yourself. Your opinions on these hats are are up to you, but right now it just looks like you are complaining just for the sake of complaining.

From what you've been saying, I could only assume you're quite the artist since you seem to know how all of this should be done. Perhaps you could hit us up with some of your great masterpieces? I'm sure everyone would love to see how much better you are with ideas compared to the whole graphics team. Your complaints really just aren't convincing me.

If you have any ideas, you may as well just state them in this public thread instead of privately since you've been the one complaining and this way any suggestions you may have can become a community discussion and get others involved instead of just feeding them personal ideas you may lIke but the rest of the community may not, after all, this is a public tournament and some of the people here are more likely to win than you (no offense - just think it makes more sense to involve the people who will actually be wearing these).

This message applies to anyone who feels like they have good suggestions or ideas, it's always better to do so in an openly manner as a community.

Make a drawing/idea contest for the next GST hats.

They making big gst hats most likely because it would look different from normal hats and more like a "gst hat". But sadly most sparrers do not like sparring with big hats so you rarely see them wearing it.

just give the 1st place winners a hat ticket and everyone else gets nothing

This is a huge step forward from last season's hats...
Basically the cat hat from last season was good. The twin swords hat with red headband was good (1st alumni win).

The cow ass with goggles should have just been the goggles only, then a 10/10 hat. Rest of last season were all creepy. The frog hat was okay tho.

But basically, we want hats that aren't huge, but not super small. They should be more like accessories. For example the cow ass, just have the goggles only. That octopus mask would have been better without the tentacles, or at least make them shorter.

Yes. I'm assuming it would work just like how UN's hat ticket works.

I don't know why anyone would really want that. It's a ticket that lets you get a hat that possibly many other people already have? Not sure how that makes it special. The goal with the GST hats is to make them like "trophies"; only winners get them.

Just my two cents though, I'm no sparrer.

i couldnt visit all the shops cus ***s b shooting bullets thru my head and idk y i cant enter the lokis shop.

i only found 2 examples. just think them as a template. don't draw too much or too little. give a nice appealing logo or ***.

If we're talking about suggestions, I think I'm seeing goggles as a trend in what people like as a hat, and a few notable gst hats that were good had goggles on them.
Also maybe make the hats themed with the season? Maybe the fruit basket and LOG might have gotten better ratings if they were given during the summer.

Here is just an example. You guys make good hats, but then I feel like you over do them or they just have bad alignment. The crown hat is good, maybe just lower it, instead of making it smaller, I just left it there, but smaller didn't make it better, I think.

You can get any hat, ever sold or custom made.

Bit much don't you think? Would ruin all the other prize hats people have won fair and square.

I have a couple hats from 2nd and 3rd places that I would not mind one bit being devalued by 1st place having a better prize. I'd rather the actual winner have a better prize, rather than me getting a hat that I never wear for being the last one to lose.

I'm just curious as to why everyone is so concerned about a set of hats that they'll most likely never acquire, let alone wear. The ones who WILL win this GST aren't defined by these hats, and even if they dislike them, they'll STILL be less inclined to complain about it than some of you.

In regards to OP, I truly believe that this should be a thing - aside from "the winners receives a hat".

Maybe some small reward so there's incentive, but it'd be mostly all for fun though.
