But that "Mexican or Race" does not bother me since I will look as rich as I can in america, But not to look like I'm in a mafia or any group of negativity, I will wear a Tuxedo from time to time due to My "Tan" skin color not going back to it's previous "White" which I pretty much regret for not wearing Sun Lotion at Florida while swimming on those pretty beaches which has a lot of pretty ladies. Also once I'm in america I will work-out since I have more freetime since It has been decided that I will be going Homeschooled, So that I will look like any pretty much those Rich Douchebags who goes to the beach and do drugs, and I will wear the Starter Pack of "My Dad is a Lawyer You Can't Arrest Me" Kit.

You're like 13, calm down.

Wait, how old are you? Do people even bully in highschool?

I had a kid like that, as class we talked to the directors of the school to throw him out of the class. Mission completed :)

Don't do drugs, don't smoke, don't drink until you're the legal age, and don't be pressured into doing anything you're uncomfortable with.
Join a sport! Even if you're unsporty/unfit/whatever other excuse you make, it can be one of the best decisions of your life as they can lead to sport scholarships, friends, and a new passion!
High school is all about labels, unfortunately, and they're hard to break, so make sure you introduce yourself to be the best person you can be!

"Don't do drugs, don't smoke, don't drink until you're the legal age, and don't be pressured into doing anything you're uncomfortable with."
This means dont be dumb.

"Join a sport! Even if you're unsporty/unfit/whatever other excuse you make, it can be one of the best decisions of your life as they can lead to sport scholarships, friends, and a new passion! "

I recommend you to join a club, it doesnt need to be sport. The students on clubs are friendly and they can become your good friends :)

I never cared about introductions but be yourself. Tell them you like ponys(?) if you like them, no matter how stupid it sounds.

Just be yourself.

If you want someone to be bullied, tell them this.

To elaborate:

Become yourself,
Get comfortable with the peeps and then slowly change behaviour once you're accepted.

Don't be yourself at first, a little lie here and here might come in handy

_Dellik_ 06-05-2015 09:06 PM

I've always been a loner so all I know how to do is be myself, I have been bullied for it but I'd rather be bullied than change who I am.

Chances are it won't be as bad as some make it out to be. Life isn't a movie, and if you're going to a half decent school I doubt anything major will happen.

like the sandy hook school accident.

My Mom approved that we will homeschool for a while then go to a real school if it works out.

Dark Ice Cream 06-06-2015 07:34 AM

Homeschool sucks, I'd rather go to a school.

KuyaGabeGraal 06-06-2015 10:45 AM

I moved a lot when I was young. I moved back to America at the age of 10 and had trouble fitting in (being introvert and all). Family (Cousins) are what mostly got me through school since its was hard for me to make friends before. Then at age 15, moved away from family due economic crisis in New York and settled in Texas. This time I had no cousins to help me and really had to rely on myself to start highschool where I have to create my own Identity. To start off, My first few friends in highschool were from Gym Class where we were partnered up. One was a big mexican guy, a filipino senior, an african-american guy who keeps making jokes at everything, a white guy with skater-boy hair, and a guy in glasses who barely speaks english. They were immediately my lunch seatmates on the first day of school and we all bonded immediately to becoming my close friends for first year. But by 2nd year we all did our own thing, and so I joined the tennis team since I played since I was a kid and made a lot of friends. Made all kinds of friends in all my classes and eventually had the guts to ask a girl out and be my girlfriend. So long story short, dont be afraid to come out of your shell.. just dont be too awkward like me. Join clubs, join a sports team if you can and (like me) if your are in a gym class (required if you havent joined a sports team) your partners will be your friends except for that one douchebag, ask a girl out, make friends in all your class. Careful though, Any filipino you encounter are different since some are the Type that are waaay more into their american side than their filipino side (I talked to a filipino-american girl once and she shut me down because she was acting all Ms. Popular and I couldnt keep up and a filipino-american guy who I met was Mr popular for being a star basketball player in the team was pretty chill but his friends didnt like hanging out with me) but dont worry, there are also others that are more into their filipino side (PiNoY pride baby!!). See all the things I mentioned are partial stories of what I went through and You only have 1-2 years left in highschool so make it last before you go to college. And yes, once you get into college, people will hire you but might vary if you have an empty resume so I suggest if you can, get a partime job in HS, volunteer for community service and take honors or advance classes so you can get hired in any specific part job besides fastfood (I hate working on fastfood chains). And lastly, homeschooling could be an option but tell your mom, as a Man, that its better to go to Highschool and that you can handle whatever hits you. Better tell her immediately or you might regret it.

Okay if we are going to do this like a movie here is how it's gonna go. You're going to come to America, you're gonna get beat up everyday. Then one day when you're getting picked on a little Asian guy is going to save you. He's gonna teach you karate by you waxing his cars and painting your fences. Then your uncle is going to build a time machine with a dalorian and a flux capacitor.
You're gonna go back in time and realiZe your dad got picked on as a kid too. Your gonna meet your mom and ages gonna be attracted to you. You're gonna kiss her on the mouth and then beat up. You're gonna beat up your dad's bullies because you got a hover board.. Then when you come back to the future your dad is gonna be cool because you changed the past. The ones that once were your bullies now will wash your car because you'll be the Man!

TWIZ 06-06-2015 08:47 PM

If you have the chance, here in Minnesota we have been given the nickname, "Minnesota nice," which is true according to out of state visitors. No state is perfect, but if you get the chance to move to Minnesota you will love it as long as you don't move directly in the Metro. I must warn you though, the weather gets pretty nasty.

My "Step" Father doesn't know what we would do in Canada, Since he doesn't live there and we had visited Delaware which had a lot of coloured and white kids like me, and my family.

I think Delaware would be good, and fun if we were in a private school or homeschool.

Weeno 01-18-2016 03:15 AM

Another Tip: Dont TRY to be cool. Dont put your sleeves up and wear one sweater everyday. Trust me you gotta be your self in a way you're not a try hard just be the way you are (as cliche as that is)

5hift 01-18-2016 03:23 AM

Wtf, since when did rolling up your sleeves and wearing one thing everyday make you "cool"?

I roll up my sleeves all the time, problem?

Maybe you should just let people do whatever they feel like instead of telling them what is socially acceptable by your standards.

I wouldn't recommend homeschooling, unless your parents have the qualifications needed to homeschool you. I also heard its much harder than actually going to school.

Private school will get you good grades for sure, but I would likely say that you MAY not learn as much as in the public system since private schools are not government run and so they will not be paid as high as public school teachers (meaning good teachers will want to work in a public school, the rest teach private schools or work as a supply). Depends though on the demographic though, I would recommend going to public high school for a few months, see if you like it or not and then decide.

Colin 01-18-2016 03:22 PM

Don't come to Canada

economy sucks and the only thing going up is our unemployment rate

also, don't try too hard to make friends that's how you get bullied, just let it naturally happen, bullying isn't nearly as bad as TV makes it out to be nobody is going to target you for no reason and if they do the problem is them not you, don't act like someone you aren't because then you'll end up hanging out with people the real you wouldn't normally hangout with

another note, Canada is filled with a-holes trust me the whole "everyone is so polite" is pretty false so moving here because you think we are all nice majestical creatures is a bad idea

Homeschooling is MUCH easier than public/private school. No bullies, no set hours, you teach yourself basically, going to parents now and then for help.
And the private school I went to taught me so much that I'd never know if I was in public school, because the teachers were allowed to have their own opinions on topics, and they offered a larger amount of classes, some of which you wouldn't get in public school. And from what I heard from my friends parents who worked at the school, they got a fantastic pay.

5hift 01-18-2016 03:58 PM

Homeschooling is a total cluster **** when it comes to applying to college.

Don't see what's so bad about public schools, saves your parents a **** load of time, make friends who can help you out, and you can get tons of advice about college from teachers and counselors.

Not to mention they'll be some of the people who write recommendations to the college you wish to apply for so why say no to that?

Gitaz 01-18-2016 04:19 PM

Alright, In 2010 I moved to Chicago from Sweden (As of 2016, I'm back in Sweden) and sure there are a lot of cultural differences but we're in the 21st century, and with it comes the internet. So it's not a whole lot different imo, a few things are going to be new, but overall you don't have to worry because they listen to the popular same music etc.
