Also, the way the prizes are structured felt a lot better. In the Easter event, you're kind of trapped collecting 50 eggs. If you ever get bored or don't want to finish and you have 40 eggs, you get nothing. With the candy thing, people can set their own goal or do it really casually and still get prizes. If it ever gets boring, you can just walk away from it without feeling like you missed out on something. It's not perfect but if I definitely find it to be more enjoyable than the Easter event. I'm sure the vast majority will say the same thing, but I'm pretty sure it's just because the Halloween event offers way, way more prizes (which is what I think almost everyone cares about the most). |
Flying ghosts with items would be nice, but to much work

I got every single item last Halloween and I think it amounted to 5 full pages of hats and maybe 8-10 items vs. 1 mount you get from Easter I'm not even sure how you would be able to come up with 5 more pages of hats that resemble Halloween without them being boring recolors or just something stupid, so I really don't care much about the prizes but more about the quality of the competition or event But again, that's on the exact opposite spectrum of what everyone else probably wants, which is something insanely easy that gives you a large number of prizes |

For me personally, I found it very frustrating and tedious to compete against 10+ other players for a single piece of candy. While I do agree that the prize system is better than the Easter event, it really doesn't feel 'casual' if you know what's at stake. (5 hat pages + various items and whatnot) What I would like to see is something that's not too time consuming, retains its prize system and can be enjoyed casually or competitively by all participants. According to the general consensus, 'private spawns' for each individual players would attribute nicely, considering that the player count will hover around 2.5-3.5k players during the event. Creating a themed quest or something that revolves around that nature is just a waste of time and content; with Christmas being just around the corner. |
Bring back the other half of Deadwood. It's unfair that my home was replaced with a cliff without a proper eviction notice. I'm still trying to get back on my feet.
|
All I want is a SnapBack from Halloween that's backwards and an emote of any kind!

Maybe instead of an event we can get a deadwood revamp? That's what I'd really like to see this halloween.
|
Why is everyone over thinking this?
More hats. More mounts. More bodies (Rufus). More items. More things in general. There could also be a costume contest for players like they did for valentines, they could make the players stand in Onnet or deadwood etc. showing off their costumes and giving them a prize. Also, that abandoned house in Onnet could offer as a haunted house or something for the event. |
I wasn't playing during the last couple Halloweens so I really don't have much to go on. But, I would love to see Deadwood re-expanded. But with more of a purpose. There was that whole haunted forest area (that led to the house with the basement containing the dark maze for the Skeleton morph quest). There was also that whole graveyard area to the north (that was part of another quest). I don't want this content recycled, but these areas can definitely be used for other purposes. I mean, they were well designed. There was a bunch of stuff in that haunted forest that I would have love to buy (as furniture). I recall stocks with blood on them and all kinds of creepy things. And those pictures with holes you could put your head through (in the graveyard area), why not let us buy those?
I always love the whole "trick or treat" mechanic. I would love to see a greater variety of "tricks". Examples (most of these would last about an hour): shrink (makes your character 50% smaller), grow (makes your character 50% larger), bush head (turns your character's head into a bush), invisible (makes your character invisible, you can only see a shadow), skeleton (turns your character into a skeleton that falls apart every few minutes), giant blob morph (turns your character into a giant blob. This one would only last 1 or 2 minutes), slow motion (reduces your characters speed and all actions by 50%), bug morph (turns your character into a random bug. This one would last maybe 10 minutes), confusion (scrambles your movement keys and gives you a small chance to hurt yourself when you swing your sword). Halloween should be about fun and craziness. This is the kind of stuff I would love to see. |
If not a trick-or-treat thing, could there be some kind of event where, if you get to the end, you can create-a-hat? Would work similarly to how Christmas presents are randomized, except you can choose the colors/elements of your hat. Would choose a base (bandana, cowboy, knight helmet, etc), choose 1-2 decorations (bow, glasses, goggles, flowers, etc), and maybe something else. Don't know what kind of event could lead up to this; but would be fun.

Deadwood revamp, trick or treating, lots of nice Onnet and Taylor Richards stuff. Also club crypt needs to open.

I hadn't thought of your second solution twilit, that would work nicely. Players could buy an empty bowl and then a bag of x treats seperately. Then, once they dump x treats into their own bowl they will receive an empty treat bag with x slots for candy.

They have to have to 50% off uploads, I'm saving up so that I can get heads I wouldn't buy for 20k and bodies I WOUDLNT buy for 10k!
|
I would thoroughly enjoy a voo-doo/ bayou theme this year, Buy hats looking like sac dolls, pins could replace your arrows.
As an event, "Voo-doo Zombies" would spawn in place of Baddies and look like a sac version of the baddy, and destroying it would result in a small flow of candy (2 or 3 pieces) that worked like Pyrate Eye patches did. You guys can run with what to do with the candy, I just thought ya know, graal usually does the stereotypical Graaloween, why not mix it up! |

If they have it for bombs, might as well have it for arrows. |
Yeah! Have bone arrows, arrows with blood and arrows crafted from deadwood trees!
|
There better be tons of hats this year too :U Honestly i see the same gfx people doing all the work, you guys should take that 'classic style' away so other gfx ppl can feel comfortable providing their own unique hats.

Monster beanies that could be sold in The Grotto, The Zone, The Fan or the Resort like Christmas. For example, a ghost beanie would be white with a ghost mouth and face and other details, while a frankenstein one could be green with his face on it, same rules would apply for vampires, werewolves, loch ness monster e.c.t. 50% off uploads too! I made myself a halloween head.

exl "Graalkenstien, gives you a mask that looks like a green disformed noob head with scars and bolts, a body that looks like frankenstiens body? (thought needed) and an item that corrosponds with frankenstine, like his boots or something or jars of paint that give your char a color from the VIP selection of colors for halloween only?? (Idea needs work) |
I think an Infected minigame would be cool. About 20 players or so, 1 infected. The infected has to kill each of the other players. The ones that die also become infected. The last player(s) alive at the end of the round get a prize, the infected get a smaller prize.

I liked the Halloween event last year, was pretty fun to compete for the top 10 spot and receive a trophy for it
|
1) Sell 1g hats, or make Halloween themed beanies.
2) Have a costume contest. Person with the most creative costume gets some kind of hat, similar to what Coco does on Valentines Day. 3) Making another Halloween quest. Before Deadwood got completely demolished, there was a haunted house that had a quest inside. I'd like to see a quest like that. 4) 50% off of all customs. 5) This is a long shot, but make a male and female zombie head and bring back selling heads in the shops. These could be limited time heads and you could make some kind of quest that people would have the complete in order to receive/purchase the zombie heads. 6) More juggles! 7) More ganis! 8) I didn't really like the Halloween event last year. I quit doing it after I lost so much candy after hours of trick-or-treating. 9) Open Club-crypt. 10) Bring back the other half of deadwood. Satisfy our needs! |
