im just trying to be the bigger man here, which is weird because you are way older than me. why do you have to be so dramatic? when will you realize that graal is just a game and stop taking it so seriously? i'm not trying to insult you here when i say this: you should really take like a week break and go outside and talk to people. graal is a game, it should be treated as a game. there is no need to put up some fake personality on it and act like you are a god. and you are not intimidating me at all so i don't know what you're talking about, we are all just people on the internet, there is nothing to be scared of. i used to be really cocky too but then i started experiencing more in life, you should try it.

you're welcome.

read up and stop ranting/raging, you'll learn a lot about yourself
your constant attempts to personally attack people, insult them, and tell them to "get a life" in response to how they play or discuss a video game speaks volumes

people beat you at this game or do things that you don't like and your immediate reaction is to question their real life and throw insults at them that are completely unrelated to the game we're playing
it's sad to see and I hope you get past that one day because my honest belief is that it's a projection of your own insecurities

PM me if you'd like to talk about it sometime, I'm a nice guy
just trying to help out :)

Comyt 06-02-2014 02:34 PM

not going to read any of those because i don't have any of them. you can't assume i have some sort of disorder without talking to me, and you have never done that. i'm a completely different person in pms to my friends on graal when compared to my forum posts. stop trying to diagnose me with disorders and stop trying to break down my thought process, you don't know anything about me and everytime you try, you will be incorrect. you have tried this before and everything you have ever posted has been wrong. stop trying.

Thallen 06-02-2014 02:45 PM

I'll give you a hand then because I'm genuinely trying to help you out:
Quote:

The term is also used more generally to describe people who are driven by a perceived handicap to overcompensate in other aspects of their lives.
Quote:

Superiority complex is a psychological defense mechanism in which a person's feelings of superiority counter or conceal his or her feelings of inferiority.
Now on to an applicable example. Picture yourself losing a spar to Abood, raging and calling him the usual racist names, then bringing up "real life" and how yours is so much better than his (as you did towards me in this very thread).

Do you say those things to try and overcompensate for something? Do you go on and on about things that are unrelated to Graal, while on Graal, for any particular reason?

#deep
Comyt, I know you don't care what anyone thinks about you (because you suffer from a few of the links I posted :P), but I think you could be a pretty cool guy if you'd chill out! Calling someone a bad sparrer is all in good fun, but why personal things? Let Graal exist within Graal, and if your real life is so great then you shouldn't feel the need to reply to this thread ever again. Right?

Nanner 06-02-2014 02:45 PM

Wikipedia is lies. False information >:0

Comyt 06-02-2014 03:15 PM

theres this huge concept that you are unable to grasp. you are incorrect.

i don't suffer from any of that because i have absolutely no reason to feel inferior to anybody.

and, this "raging" thing? i have insulted people in spar after losing to them while talking to klayton, dankiee, etc. on xbox and there is this huuge thing you don't understand: i am never actually mad. it is quite enjoyable to insult people on graal and observe their hilarious reactions to it, such as "lol rage," "u mad bro," etc. i am simply finding my own fun in a game that i don't find to be as fun as it used to be. don't believe me? skype me or something, you would realize i am not actually phased by a loss and you would become extremely confused and stop trying to diagnose me with disorders because you have no idea how to explain the things that i do, because they don't match with the real me, just the person you have created in your mind to represent me.

You guys are always at it. Just my personal experience but I've spoke to Comyt a few times in the game and in all honesty he speaks out on how he sees things or in his words a "realist"

Anyway you both kinda do have points. Thallen in all respect I don't want to seem like a di*k but you do spent quite a long time on the game it wouldn't hurt to take a break like Deity members do after each GST.

Comyt I think that forum arguments aren't really constructive (well even though it's entertaining) but hmm I don't get why you don't sort it out in a series or gs. But I think if you guys are going to leave it at how it is now I think Comyt's winningi this Grudge match with his clutch which I personally think cost Alumni the iDevice GST.

Why are we all referencing wikipedia articles that no one is going to read again?

Instead of conglomerating a "team," heres a list of some of my favorite guild sparers.
Cookie: definitely PiNoY's ultimate weapon.
Red Leo: I can count on one hand the number of spars a guild has lost that had Leo with them. Seen him win 1-on-3's.
Clops: Ive been clobbered by Clops many a'time just rushing in. Gotta be real defensive and make sure he doesnt have a partner near by to gang bang you
A large handful of iDev's that I dont like facing 1v1 either.

Ramone 06-03-2014 03:37 AM

Cores:
Exalt: great offensive pc sparrer and a close friend.
Sarah: because she's a great defensive idevice sparrer.
Dante: he has a pretty unique style since i've had series' with him before. he basically doesn't let you get free hits off.
Prime: i've sparred with him a lot and he's very good offensively and defensively on ipad. he knows how to move around the arena well.
Thallen: utilizes blinks very well and has great knowledge for spar in general.
Subs:
Nadine: from what i remember she sparred like sarah just a little more offensively.
Junior
and if i really wanted to win i would throw in muffinman/zax as subs. so if we were about to lose we'd just throw them in and be an omnipotent lag force.

Simon Cowell- Eh i would try and spar my best near this guy, he will judge every bad movemnt you make.

Iggy Azalea- Would you really hit one of Gods greatest masterpieces? (meaning she sexy)

Justin Timberlake- Too busy to particpate in GST, this guy is always making new albums.

Luciano Pavarotti- Our secret weapon in the GST, this guy will sing to you, eventually making you sleep.

Miley Cyrus- Just here to twerk. She also wanted to participate since she heard her secret lover Justin Beiber would be in the GST.

YO some people actually work for it from nothing you can't just blame the whole 1% like Paris Hilton I get, what has she done but get plastic surgery and sit around but some people actually work hard for their money lol :\

But yeah onto related matters;
There are existing dream teams, top sparrers make best friends with each other and friends join each other's teams so they become a dream team. Like Alumni is a dream team. They're consistently at the top. And you can't say its biased because even though Thallen's cool, people think he boosts cause he's so awesome and try to bring him down (Hey you should rep this ;)) and everyone thinks Alumni in general boosts even though I'm sure they don't. If they boosted they wouldn't be winning every GST though just saying.

Actually I don't really know what I'm saying but if I were to have a dream team, like if I could manage one and I got money every time they win I'd take Alumni because they win a lot

Alumni's team isn't a dream team in it's own matter. I just don't see what competition they have. Deity's gone down the drain and they need to pick themselves back up. Essence well isn't Essence anymore but I think in like 3-4 GSTs Jagger will have a great team set up. SLX? Nice Job Quiondre got banned on GST Day for lagging. Talbourn's bring up his own team and they are looking deadly, I even heard rumors Dante will join them (RUMORS) I'll just wait and sit back because you'll be surprised what happens in 3months, loyalty will die, members will turn on each other etc. Just give it time and we'll see if Alumni can pass the test of time.

the problem with the mix tournament was that it was given no credibility because of the lack of competition, so if this is true it will only make the mix gst better.

very few people have shown loyalty in iGraal. The majority of the players only care about themselves and their graal "status" in the community, so most of them will go with the option that will benefit them the most.

i dont think any spar guild has survived the test of time and it can be because they lose their edge or just get bored "dominating" the competition.

Lack of Competition....there were 2 good idev teams, one of which making it to the final. Mixed was formerly between the same 3 teams, but now mixed is becoming annoyingly more difficult in a broad perspective.

On another note, we aren't in the drain Kuz, just scheduling tore us up there. Nothing we could do, I'm still satisfied. After all, we're all talking as if a belt and hat instantly make us celebrities.

I'll stick with Deity as they don't just noob recruit last second.

The thread is about GST Dream Teams, I am pretty sure to be a dream team you should have the potential to win the GST.

Fulgore i'm just saying that Eko was a big part of Deity, and it might take Deity a bit of time to find a replacement but when you guys do i'm sure you'll me favorites again (right now I think you guys will be semi finalists for the next GST with your current team) You guys don't practice until like a week before gst together. There is always space for improvement.

I always deemed Mixed tougher than iDevice as Mixed has more variety. iDevice the first like 4 rounds are pretty easy because out of the 64 teams only like 2 of them will have the potential to win, whereas in mixed the first round may be easy but after that it gets really hard.

when i made my statement i was referring to the history of the mix tournament. The first 8+ mix gst's had one one good team that was almost guaranteed the tournament. First it was US taking advantage of the 4th gen iphoners and then they were replaced by Mother once they made their decent team. Once all the pro sparers from Mother stopped doing the gst more teams started coming together.

let me guess nessa and alumni were the only 2 good teams? a couple gst's ago the alumni team(mainly members of "everyone") was just a bunch of delaying noobs, but now theyre good? Your opinions hold no value as they are clearly biased because you replied with the mentality of mix tournament vs idevice tournament. As far as competitive teams go, both tournaments had enough strong teams to make it interesting.
Note: i seriously doubt many people gave nessa a chance to win besides themselves.

I just want people to understand that its hard for people to show true loyalty in iGraal. Look at all the Mother idevicers that left when they realized they were not going to win the gst with that guild.

Another note: dont trash the people that make last minute teams for gst. The so called true sparing guilds are just as bad. They recruit for the sole purpose of the gst, and if you dont believe me go to the guild spar room and you will only see them the week prior to the gst.

AND im not trashing the mix gst, im only saying more strong teams will make it better.

The list is in the kiosk, most likely any one of the staff on the first 2 pages of GP can upload.
