Factions!
Alright guys, time to ask for some help again!
First you might want to keep a close eye on this www.fortunefighters.com We're currently working on a website and devlog. We will also have forums and a sign up for alpha/beta testing. -- As of now we have decided to go with the name Fortune Fighters. Wastelands We're working hard putting more awesome stuff together. Currently working on a massive wasteland area where 100's of players can battle at once. This area will always be under siege. There will be goals to accomplish like flag capturing, hostage taking, pillaging for loot. The whole time you are working with your friends to build reputation which will further the growth of your personal status and the status of your faction. Factions Each faction will have it's own little village/fortress inside the wastelands. They will be scattered about. An example of some factions would be, Vikings, Pirates, Space Marines, Cowboys, Ninjas, etc. We want to know what kind of faction ideas you guys have. Tell us in detail the kind of faction you would like to see...what the city would look like, and some of the armor and weapons people in that faction might have. Tell us the lore behind them. Let us know any special features this faction might have that other factions might not have. So make sure to come watch my stream! -- Rock boss attack animation! http://i.imgur.com/WdJhVkT.gif @Shiz - There will be a leveling system, but it will be a gear leveling system instead of an individual player leveling system. This allows rare weapons/armor to become even rarer with long use and lots of kills. You can even start a business selling high level weapons. Your weapon will actually change how it looks as it levels up. Getting bigger and scarier.. Flaming enchantments, lightning, etc. Faster attack speeds, larger hit radius. -- This system should allow someone who's played for a short time to have a fair chance against someone with years of experience. The older player will have a better understanding of the game and hopefully a high level weapon and gear though.. so he will have a slight advantage. |

Hey guys..thanks a ton. We're going to PAX south on Jan 29th - 31st. We're excited to show off a fully playable arena with boss fight... 6 different special abilities.. and a ton of fun stuff in the match.
We're going to create a greenlight page and announce the game officially at the same time so we can get as many upvotes as possible. (Its hard to get greenlit so we gotta time it perfectly) ... we're definitely going to need everyone's help. We'll be beta testing very soon, within a couple of months. It will be 100% free, with cosmetic item shop only. This is how the game will be forever. I'm working on a new ability right now.. I haven't finished coloring it all in yet so don't judge to harshly! This is the "Tele-Mine" ability... Essentially you will use the ability in a jam, and teleport a few spaces in front of you..
