You should've seen how they first came out with z room, saw most of the kids fighting for the dj. It's not like that anymore, but if they had everyone who could change the songs, there would be a big fight :P or at least that's what I'm thinking would happen.

They could make it so each player adds a song to a queue of songs. Then the game/system/ whatever generates the music in that level goes through the list.

That's what I was thinking, if it was open for everyone. And whoever votes for the same song as other people it would be played first, not over and over. The less voted songs would play after and so on, that way the whole song would be played at least once, with a variety afterwards.

Or something to that extent.

I love the irony of how a thread promoting the newly upgraded Z Room, turned into a thread demanding its destruction.

as for what NCJohn said yes it's VERY counter productive I agree completely with your statement, and most of the parties admins host are after they are burnt out on working for hours and hours at making new content, or at least that is my side of the story. I put an insane amount of hours into developing for the server, I feel I'm entitled to a break and some music from time to time right?

This is entirely voluntary so if you don't want to put 'insane amounts of work' into a server you voluntarily work for simply don't work there.
And I don't see how throwing a virtual party in a virtual room with a gang full of people who think they're 1337 for being members in a virtual guild which has virtual control over a level in an iPod game will compensate for your hard work, mate.

Z-Room serves no purpose, I mean if you wanted to listen to music you could listen to pandora or something, and if you actually chose to stay in z-room, you would be starting at your pixel character dancing for 10 minutes.

It should be shut. Simple. Attention seeking assholes want it open so they can act all important as they can change a song.
