Added message boxes to the suspected warps that are causing this, please post in this thread if you get a message when warped.

I have gotten a couple messages from defending swamp tower today. I warped twice and both times said something like "You were placed at unstick me for going in off map places". I don't remember exactly what the pop ups said but it was something like that.

I walked into the Deadwood furniture shop and got the same message Rufus got...then I got I got warped again after taking two steps and got the same message. Then again, then I flipped a table x_x just stick to warp lines in off map areas. Just make it so it warps you out of the level if you're on that level unless you're on an RC Tag. Rather than having it be based on lag levels.
(Note: I'm not sure if that's what you're trying to do or not so I could just be saying what you're currently doing thus would make me feel foolish if I was) |

I thought someone said that staff added the lag warp thingy cause they didn't want players glitching through the doors to get to the second server? Because it only happens to me when I'm walking through the door too fast.....especially at towers.

It's redundant to place 500 people in the one spot due to lag, causing more lag.
|
Wouldn't it be better to just disconnect the player? This warp thing actually hurts the server because when the server is lagging everyone gets warped there, causing more lag for players and chaos, is there a way to change it so lag and players can be put above measures to stop players glitching off map? I thought it was supposed to be already impossible without second server glitch (I know it's not a second server its just the name)
No matter what the second server glitch can still be used, I don't know if it's possible to fix it without making the game worse or Stefan spending hours trying to fix it.. |
We disabled it, the script causing it was acting odd.
It wasn't designed to disconnect/warp laggers, it was to keep people from going off map and apparently it's not that big of deal anymore. |
