The only problem is the "total value" would be a mess to calculate. It would be simpler if you removed it, otherwise guild hats etc would say "worth: 1 gralat"

Agree. It's up to the player to decide. :$

Graphics
Custom heads, bodies, and bought hats
Excludes graphics obtained from events such as hide and seek or guild-specific rewards

This is a great idea!
Having a trading system would definatley make Classic better than it has ever been!
People would definatley use this trading system.
Everything about this is a wonderful idea.
I hope to see something like this used in the future!
:D

I posted before she edited that in, anyway that would defeat the purpose of the trade system. Who wants to trade hats that are still available for purchase?

Maybe if someone doesn´t have enough gralats but a hat someone else wants with the current hat being sold. Than it would be like a "gralats transfer".

You could still sell things that were once in stores for a limited time but are no longer available. (like Christmas hats or furnitures)

It's just that guild hats should really only stay with players who contributed to the guild's 1000 tower-hours, and giving them away to other players who didn't help the guild would defeat the point of having guild-specific items.

You should be able to do what you want with your items. If someone wants to sell the PULSE 1k hat all power to them. If somebody wants to overpay so much for that then let them. It wouldn't lead to scamming, how many people new enough to get scammed would actually have enough gralats to trade for that hat?

It could also lead to collectors purchasing large amounts of gralats to get the rarer hats. More money for Stef.

Agreed. Do what you want with your stuff.

if there's a problem about not gaining money from it then add lets say a 50gp fee for a trade or something...just an idea

Sure 1000 hours of blood, sweat and toil compressed into a easy payment of 50k. It is like buying the guild hat off of the leaders which apparently was wrong. I honestly cannot see the difference between trading guild hats, and buying them off of the guild.

I don't know about you Pazx, but a large number of people disagreed over the topic of a certain leader from a certain guild buying off the leaders of some hat-holding guilds. Say what you want, trading guild hats feel wrong to me.

I for one wouldn't sell my guild hats (I would buy. I'd like to collect), but if somebody feels the need to trade off their hat they should be allowed to. If you think it's a matter of loyalty then maybe you shouldn't have given the hat to people who would throw it away. Half the guild hats used to be given to anyone and everyone who helped out a guild for just a short while. Some of them weren't even really worked for.

And what about other people with your kind of mind-set? At most only 125 guild hats will be up for sale. If only a quarter of the people are collecting... Besides I see guild hats as a type of symbol of dedication. Plus guilds don't take kindly to moochers who are there for only 20 hours. I can think of one more reason but frankly I have 8 other threads to go through so bye.

What's wrong with my mindset? If somebody wants to make a profit off a hat, let them.

I am not against regular hats that have been discontinued, I am just against the trading of guild hats. You have my blessing for others.

While recently rumours of a trading system being added to GraalOnline Classic turned out to be false, it was, however, an interesting idea for the game. I was working on a trading concepts video a while back, but only recently returned to it, and here's what I thought trading on Graal would look like:

YouTube Link

I thought about two different ways to trade items on GraalOnline Classic, and this is one of them; on-the-go trading.

An on-the-go trade would be started in the same way as sending a private message, by opening a player's profile > More Actions > Trade. A trade request would appear as a chat bubble and last for 30 seconds before timing out. If the other player accepts the trade request, then the trade would begin.

On the offers screen, players can add items to their side of the trade. Things like gralats, inventory items, furniture, and custom graphics can be put on offer. The offers list shows all items a player has decided to trade away, and the total value of the items offered is shown at the bottom. The player can also switch and see what the other player has put on offer, as well as the total value of their items. A special chat is available here to communicate between themselves about what to sell.

When they are done, clicking the "next" button will put a green circle on the "receiving" tab of the other player to let them know you are ready to make the trade. Once both players are ready, they will be taken to the confirmation screen where they can review the offers made on both sides as well as return and make any changes.

The confirmation screen has a 60-second timeout limit. If a player does not respond within that time, the trade is automatically cancelled.

After a trade is complete, a record of that trade is made containing details of when and where the trade happened, who was involved, the items exchanged, and a copy of the chat during the trade. In the case of scams, players can go back and check these details and report unfair trades from there.

===EDIT===

Things that can be traded:

Gralats
A number pad pops up, allows the player to enter the number of gralats they would like to offer

Items
Ganis, morphs, generally items that can be purchased in stores (even if not currently available)
Bombs and arrows can be traded as supplies
Excludes VIP morphs and quest items

Furniture
Again, things that can be store-bought, regardless if it's no longer available

Graphics
Custom heads, bodies, and bought hats
Excludes graphics obtained from events such as hide and seek or guild-specific rewards

Items that are re-sold could be sold for 50%-100% their original price, and this is set by the system.

Hopefully this happens soon, many players think it would make the game more valuable by making a trading system. More things to do, and giving it purpose.

Of course! Who would want to do that! The leader of a guild who receives that hat would most likely make them mad because ey put a lot of drama, and hard work, and then a player gives to some random player in a trade.
