How did one server increase?

People have been talking about the PC crash that occurs where you either become invisible or just freeze completely. I experienced it in the middle of sparring last night, and it happened immediately when "kiss (FaMiLy cDc)" entered the room. My client wouldn't even reconnect until he left the room.

I went on an alternate account and checked him from the guild roster view and player search view, and both times I crashed before his head appeared.

His head is an animated GIF. I myself wear a GIF head though, so I'm not sure what the conditions are. I asked multiple PC players to test this, and they also crashed.

Can someone look into this? It makes the game unplayable as a PC player. Disabling animated GIFs doesn't fix it. If someone figures out how to abuse this, they can just run around crashing every PC player in towers and spar arenas.

We've disabled custom upload gifs for flash players (you will see head0.png instead for instance) until we have a more permanent fix for the issue.

We did another server update today that will hopefully put an end to the overworld npc glitches as well.

This was a bug I've been wanting to address for awhile, there also tends to be a shield that freezes you game for about 5 seconds. Which has only happened to me for 1 shield. Which myself deals with it, don't know if much has realized its due to the shield but I've seen others freeze when it comes. <- Not due to new sever btw just has occurred for awhile

I've started crashing again as of ~2 hours ago in the arena (bottom streak room). It seems to only happen when I open up a menu, like my friends list. Afterwards, I can't close it and my entire Flash client just freezes.

Edit 1: Actually, it's only doing it in my friends list. Maybe it has to do with one of their heads.

All heads in my friends list load except Kara's, then I crash. It might be something to do with hers?

Edit 2: I found her in game and removed her, but I'm still crashing through my friends list.
