how about this:

Everything is free for the day but depending on the item there are stocks.

For example a hat would have like 15-10 in stock (for free) while say an expensive mount could have 1-2 in stock.

It'd cause riots but it'd be funny, would have to be a one time thing or randomized so people don't camp out places

I guess I can kinda see exactly why you would suggest this. You thought it would be pretty cool to have free items- but at the same time, all the other players are getting those exact items, which would make them pretty worthless if you ask me. It's really equivalent to the items, and hats you start with when you first begin playing. BUT GOOD TRY BUD

It sounds good, but this would undermine the hard work other players have put in to buying those items which are now "free". I know I would be mad if I wasted 80,000 gralats on a mount only to find another player got it for one gralat lol. My vote is a "No."

At the very least, maybe the admins could give players more than one gift? And maybe have the gifts guaranteed to have a good item inside?

Thanks for the feedback but everything in the game is worthless now, except pking/bking/winning a gst hat. In fact, everything you buy, the likelihood of you using that item everyday is like 1 in a million.

Then why does it matter if we get everything for free?

I spent 10 or 20,000 on items a few years back for halloween - the bat furniture set. This year it showed up in the candy grab bags. That's ok. Not so bad.

The kicker was that now the ones that I paid full price for are lumped in and only resell for 1 gralat each. I would have made some 5-10k off reselling them, but no. I don't get even HALF the money back that I spent and now have multiples of all these furniture items I only bought one of. Who the hell needs 3 bat-themed grandfather clocks?
